Ismail Mustaph Hussan (49), is charged with the murder of Muhudin Osman Suleyman at Ballymullen Barracks yesterday morning contrary to common law.
The Somali national is further charged with Section 3 assault causing harm to Hassan Hussein Abedi at the same location.
Ismail Mustaph Hussan had the proceedings of this evening's brief court appearance translated to him through a Somali interpreter.
It is believed Hussan murdered Suleyman as he snored loudly.
