Under scarcity it’s expensive to be poor and cheap to be rich. But under abundance it’s cheap to be poor and expensive to be rich. Complete inversion from what you know.

These morons really think that purposefully losing is going to push people back to the center. 😂 Gotta give them credit for going out in style.

You guys are not making it better. You don’t just run the same playbook and expect the same result after the fundamental dynamics have changed. What do you hope to gain through this flailing about? You’re better than this. Or at least you could be. And don’t make this about me. I’m fine and will be fine. When you come to me for help, remember that I said this. I can walk away while you can’t. I don’t need your humility because you wouldn’t even consider why. This isn’t about that. I find you embarrassing because you are embarrassing. We could do better but instead we’re locked in a cage with your incompetence. For me this is about disgust at what you could have been but chose not to be.

Senior Reporter at Kiev Independent. Lead narrative engineer on behalf of the Ukraine govt. Skilled in the art of linguistic doublespeak, propaganda and being obtuse. This is an example for the record books 👇
I was one of the only foreign journalists present at this evening's clash at the National Guard facility in a suburb outside Kyiv. Here's what you need to understand. Long and difficult thread.

Recently I learned there are ~15 entities that control the world. Now you know too. (No I don’t know all of them) —- If you have a fun friend group you play, who’s the most powerful person on earth. Or organization. And you debate who it really is. Is it Putin? Is it Musk? Is it Trump? An unseen hand? Anyway, I learned recently that people In the know describe it as 15 different entities. Interesting.

Underclass of any society is kept as a reservoir of votes for the incumbent regime. This ain’t new. The sympathizers are usually drawn from the upper crust and their kids. Tom Wolfe - radical chic. There’s also extensive academic work on the composition of terrorists, it’s often the high middle to upper class.

Picture on left is Rachel and I at 25/22, about 5 years before we had kids. Those 5 years were fun and I don't spend time regretting them, but in retrospect it was a frivolous extended adolescence. Have kids with someone you love as early as you can. You won't regret it!
How it started v how it's going 😍

These threads are nuts. If you find yourself taking them seriously maybe go outside for a bit. —- That said we might drop a rock on Qeshm from MEO. History doesn’t repeat but it rhymes.
If a nuclear weapon were used on Pick Axe mountain in Iran by the US or Israel or an empty field in Ukraine by Russia etc, it doesn’t matter, it would open up Pandora’s box and would make the U.S. and the world dramatically less safe. This isn’t even a question of how big of a disaster the use, in any manner, of a nuclear weapon would be. It would represent the largest foreign policy error ever by the United States if we were involved. We can only hope this claim isn’t accurate in any way.

We have a society that actively kneecaps young men in the name of ‘justice’ and then sit around scratching our heads about why men are ‘falling behind.’
It’s even worse than Anish notes here because boys make up 61% of the top SAT scores. So despite that fact and the fact that men apply about 2x as often to MIT; @MIT admits more women every year than men. It’s impossible for this to be merit based. Just mathematically impossible.

We should support X. I like the platform a lot, but even if I didn’t transparency for the people of a society is a great virtue that would compel me to support it. Thanks @elonmusk

The money for all this came a few years ago. We had this great idea on how to fix the Red Sea situation and restore transit via the Suez Canal. All the usual suspects were on board and the decision went to Jake Sullivan (then NSA). He shot it down. Allegedly because they “had promised Egypt” to somebody else. How did the Muslim Brotherhood get the money to buy off the Democratic Party? Questions for Plato.
This is a despicable betrayal from Rep. Stevens. Senate Democrats are united in our support for Abdul El-Sayed, because we know he will fight for the economic interests of working families in Michigan, unlike Mike Rogers, who is a tool of Donald Trump and billionaire donors.

I am loving this Star Wars discourse it's been legitimately good art critique and an example of critical theory at its best I was telling some friends, we're living through a 21st-century Dennis Diderot awakening
Quick Padme rant now that the prequels are trending again. One of the things that bothers me most about Padme and also incidentally exemplifies how she really does fit the progressive, longhoused girlfriend meme is her death. A lot of people simplify her death into "Oh Anakin killed her." To be clear, he did not kill her. The movie explicitly states she was physically fine but died of a broken heart. So this woman has 2 newborn children, but she is so heartbroken over Anakin rejecting the Republic and going to the darkside that she can't even summon the will to live to raise her own babies. Madness. Insanity. Perfect illustration of the liberal adherence to ideology over family.

What you're describing is not replacement. You're describing an amplification where the engineers of the future will be able to leverage AI tools. This goes for every high-level profession
Replying to @AJA_Cortes
Engineers are being replaced by AI, an engineer like myself with 25 years experience and half decent coding skills and AI can now build multidisciplinary work flows and achieve the same output in a couple of weeks that used take months and a team of 6 people.

Does this mean that public union members like teachers, fire fighters, and policemen shouldn’t vote either? —- Had a guy today in the sauna tell me that his wife’s family is Swedish and that the Swedes were so successful because of the adversity of winter. And that near the equator people can’t plan because food is always plentiful. I asked him if that’s true why black people who moved to Sweden haven’t assimilated to that problem solving modality and aren’t regressing to the Swedish mean. He looked at me funny and then said, well that’s because evolution is a slower process. I laughed and retorted, congratulations you’ve just recreated eugenics from personal experience. What now? He was a boomer so there was an immediate segfault. I feel for people like him because they don’t have a generative internally consistent worldview. So they just spout Malcolm gladerll style bullshit like that while the worst people on the left make the society worse. I told him the zoomers are coming because they understand the Empire were the good guys and he about melted. Had to leave them for my safety. 😂 It’s only funny because more and more people are having these conversations.
Only taxpayers should be allowed to vote. Anyone on welfare benefits should forfeit their right to vote until they are off of government assistance.

Um this is nuts. Can I do something about this as one of her targets?
One of Letitia James’s employees sent an email to express his concerns about how she had directed her office to pursue targets for political purposes instead of focusing on public safety issues like fraud in the homeless shelter industry and antisemitic hate crimes. She fired him, deleted the email, and released his personnel file to intimidate him.

The entire global political system since the middle of the twentieth century has been reconfigured so that white people hate themselves, don't reproduce and surrender their countries to foreigners without firing a shot. If that doesn't make you special, I don't know what does.
Abdul El-Sayed says White kids grow up thinking they’re special when they really aren’t. Follow: @AFpost
