Building a stronger future for yachting in Africa.
At the African Boating Conference in Cape Town, South Africa, Gulf Craft CEO Erwin Bamps delivered a keynote address on the lessons emerging marine markets can draw from the UAE’s development as an international yachting destination.
His message centred on the importance of marine infrastructure, supporting services and connected cruising destinations in attracting visiting superyachts and encouraging longer stays. Drawing on Gulf Craft’s own international history and experience, including its established presence in the Maldives, he highlighted the opportunities to develop a more connected African cruising region.
