Nobody wants to hear this when they start trading. But there is no way around it so here it is. Learning to trade is largely learning to accept small losses. Over and over and over again. That is the job. That is the process. If you cannot make peace with that reality, this game will take your money and send you home. Here is the part that breaks most people's brains. Even the greatest traders who have ever lived have win rates below 50%. Some of the best in history win on less than 3 or 4 out of every 10 trades. By any normal definition of the word, they are wrong more often than they are right. And they are still extraordinarily wealthy because of it. Roger Federer said something in a speech that applies directly to trading, even though he was talking about tennis. He said perfection is impossible. In 1526 singles matches played across his career, he won 80% of them. One of the greatest athletes in the history of any sport. And yet he only won 54% of the individual points he played. Fifty four percent. Barely more than half. Even at the absolute peak of human performance in his sport, Federer was losing nearly half of every single point. The best in the world are not perfect. They are just better at handling imperfection than everyone else. Now think about flipping a coin a thousand times. It does not matter whether your odds are 40% or 60% if the math on each flip is wrong. What matters is the asymmetry. What happens when it lands on heads versus what happens when it lands on tails. If you win three times what you lose every single time, a 40% win rate turns into a very profitable system over a large enough sample size. The edge is not in being right more often. The edge is in making sure your winners are significantly larger than your losers. That is the entire game in one paragraph. The best traders in the world have built systems that ruthlessly limit the downside on every losing trade while giving winners room to run as far as they possibly can. Small loss, small loss, small loss, massive winner. Repeat. The small losses are not failures. They are the cost of staying in the game long enough for the fat winner to show up. But here is where ego destroys otherwise talented traders. Taking a small loss requires admitting you were wrong. Doing it repeatedly, sometimes several times in a row, requires a level of emotional discipline that most people simply do not have. The ego says hold on, it will come back. The ego says this one is different. The ego turns a small loss into a large one and a large one into a catastrophic one. The traders who survive long enough to build real wealth are not the ones who are never wrong. They are the ones whose ego is small enough to take the loss, close the trade, and move on to the next one without carrying any emotional baggage from the last. Federer lost nearly half the points he ever played and won 80% of his matches. You will lose on more than half your trades and still build a career out of this, if the math on your winners is right and your ego is small enough to let the losers go. Learn to lose. It is the most important skill in trading and almost nobody talks about it.

Lot of major alts may be forming H&S tops here. Unless they’ll fail which will provide good long opportunities. Still long $BTC and $ZEC.

The speed at which the West is losing ground to China would be funny if it weren’t so pathetic. We can’t maintain our own cities, let alone make them function. China builds and maintains megacities of tens of millions, with infrastructure, public transport and streets so clean they make much of Europe look like a neglected backwater. Walk through a Chinese city and the contrast is hard to ignore. No Palestinian flags plastered everywhere. No endless identity politics. No ideological obsession with redefining basic biological reality. No turning every disagreement into a moral emergency. Instead, you see a country building, improving and moving forward. Rising living standards. Modern infrastructure. An unmistakable sense that tomorrow can be better than today. Meanwhile, the West is busy congratulating itself on its moral superiority while its infrastructure decays, its public spaces deteriorate and its politics descend into an endless argument over the definition of a woman. China is focused on the future. We’re arguing with ourselves about the present. And the most embarrassing part is we’re still convinced we’re winning.

Tradingview subscription coming to an end again this November and considering switching over to @Deepvue Any traders that made that switch entirely and are happy they did? Product looks great. I like the team and the value they add to the industry.
