Join us in celebrating our teachers and staff this #TeacherAppreciationWeek, May 8- 12. We are so thankful for the incredible work our teachers do inside and outside of the classroom. #ThankATeacher

Congratulations to Mrs. Tiffany, our amazing Robotics Teacher, for being named STEM Teacher of the Year by @AFA_Air_Space Martin H. Harris Chapter! This is an incredible honor and one most deserving for her. She is the 💜of Hamilton! #stemteacher

Our Hamilton #STEMsquad is competing today in the SCPS Rube Goldberg Challenge. Their energy transfer machine, Hamilton Raceway, is racing all the way to the (piggy) bank! Check it out! #innovatorlife #rubegoldberg

Planting in our G.R.E.E.N. Space "rocks"! As part of their study of rocks and soil, 2nd grade innovators learned about what makes up soil and which soil type is best for growing vegetables. They planted carrots, beets, & onions to observe how root vegetables grow! #innovatorlife

Our first grade innovators explored ways to provide clean water by utilizing the engineering design process to create and test water filters. Looks like we have future engineers here! @EiE_org #innovatorlife

Oh SNAP! In robotics, our innovators became investiGATORs, learning how to build and code an alligator to CHOMP! #innovatorlife #robotics #nogatorhatershere

Breaking news! Hamilton Elementary Magnet School of Engineering and Technology has been named a National Magnet School of Distinction by Magnet Schools of America, the national association for magnet and theme-based schools! 🎉 #Magnetschoolofdistinction

Today in robotics 5th-grade Innovators are applying their knowledge of force and motion and balance and unbalanced forces through coding. #innovatorlife #todayinrobotics

Some very happy Hamilton 21st Century children today thanks to @HQHyundai, @Christian_HELP, and @SHS_Sanford Ladies of Seminole. We are so grateful for all the generosity! #SeasonOfGiving #grateful

Problem solving in our pajamas was so fun! All grade levels used problem solving strategies to solve word problems in their pajamas! Our engineers had a winter-y BLAST! #mathday #hamiltonengineers #hamiltonsolves @SCPSInfo @scpselementary

Happy National Computer Science Week! Hamilton Innovators are joining students around the world by participating in #hourofcode. Students are putting their computer coding skills to the test to try and earn as many coding minutes as possible this week! #innovatorlife #CSEdWeek

Our kindergarten innovators were hard at work in the robotics lab using the engineering design process to learn about simple machines. They planned and engineering their levers and were able to explain and share with their friends how levers work. #todayinrobotics #innovatorlife

At Hamilton, our students aren't the only engineers. Our teachers put their engineering skills to the test as they participated in professional development today on the @EiE_org Engineering is Elementary curriculum. Thank you @orlandoscience for leading the training! #stemlife

We are proud to announce Hamilton’s Teacher of the Year, Mrs. Albert! She is a first grade teacher, leader and superstar! 💜💚 #innovatorlife #scpstoy2022

Our brilliant 4th and 5th grade scientists had a STEM-tacular week learning about forces, gravity, sound waves, and more! Thanks @ePathwaysSCPS for choosing Hamilton to kick off your year of learning!

Our fourth-grade innovators are exploring magnets at our brand new Magnet Exploration Station! They learned about different magnetic materials and how magnets attract and repel each other. #innovatorlife #weareattractedtoscience

5th grade innovators investigating the type of paper used and how that effects distance when designing paper airplanes. #innovatorlife #natureofscience

🎶 We are engineers! 🎶 🎶 We are engineers! 🎶 Even our kindergarten innovators already know the engineering design process. The future is looking bright (and super cute, too!) #innovatorlife #thinklikeanengineer #tinyinnovators #yourdoseofcuteness
