It was great to be at @BigBangUKSTEM in June. Here's a video @Jonwoodscience made of the stand and our awesome volunteers. Huge thanks to @RoyceInstitute for their support in making the stand possible & @zeiss_micro for lending us their microscopes. youtu.be/dvp0ee34AoY
Finished the @Great_Run #GreatNorthRun in 1:54:34 - had an awesome time especially meeting up with fellow @BVHarriers and seeing the @mssocietyuk for whom I am fundraising (please visit tinyurl.com/4rtjfs7t if you want to donate to this awesome cause).

We had three brilliant online sessions today across East Renfrewshire schools with @hamlettcae and @DiscovMaterials at Birmingham University. Almost 800 children participated. We love science! 😁
Thank for having me - the children were great and asked some awesome questions!
Today Year 3 had a Science Forces workshop with Dr Chris from Birmingham University. We explored different types of materials, we looked at absorbing force with chocolate bars and worked out which colour works best to block out UV light. We had a fantastic morning! #article28
