Good Morning!
@BBCRadio3 Breakfast on a quest for beauty, knowledge, and good tunes in the music this morning fortunately we have the assistance of Dvoarionas Zarlino, Strauss, Bach first thing - and newsreader @danielleonradio.
Kettle On!
Morning @BBCRadio3 Breakfasters!
Day 2 of our European Road Trip stops in Paris with @MannGeorgia, so come feast on French music in Breakfast to get you in the mood.
Itchy musical feet also take us to Mannheim, Manchester, & Venice - which looks especially beautiful at dawn...
Happy New Year @BBCRadio3 Breakfasters!
@rfdenison and I look like we're about to hit the slopes but actually have all the tunes lined up for this first day of 2025, come join us!
Good Morning @BBCRadio3 Breakfasters!
The last show of 2024 with producer @LizzieCoxhead! We've NYE traditions from around the world for you, JSB's music for the NYE, & I've inadvertently come dressed as a swan (yes, mustard trousers too) for the 7th day of Christmas 🦢
Good Morning @BBCRadio3 Breakfasters from Langham Place. Round the corner a bit, behind that church was Queen's Hall, first home of the Proms & venue of countless premieres, one such piece we'll hear in this morning's show. Plus Poulenc, Sibelius, Mozart, & Bach all before 7.
Betwixtmas edition of The Early Music Show at 5 on @bbcradio3 features none other than Ton Koopman. He was on tip top form as he celebrated his 80th Birthday with favourite recordings & ever-essential chocolate cake.
About 15 years ago I had surgery on my hip that didn't work well & at a really low point, my physio recommended I seek out Mary Joy Langdon. With the care & expertise of her team at Wormwood Scrubs I got back on a horse... it was a real turning point mentally & physically.
Mary Joy Langdon was the first UK woman fire-fighter. Then, after eight years, she became a nun.
She founded the Wormwood Scrubs Pony Centre, introducing inner-city children and the disabled to horse riding.
Private Passions @BBCRadio3 with Mozart, Strauss, Bach and Grieg.
Morning! Yes. THAT day. Happy 3rd Day of Christmas. My favourite for obvious reasons.
Honouring Les Trois this morning on @BBCRadio3 Breakfast with three French composers and their view of the hen house. Plus Parry, Puccini, and Bach before 7. The tea is hot. Friday we're ready.
Welcome to Boxing Day Breakfast @BBCRadio3
We're live right now with the cantata Bach performed on this very date 300 years ago in Leipzig, & a literal feast of musical Stephens for the show. Susan & Andy doing all the vital stuff this morning - come join us on the airwaves!
Good Morning and Merry Christmas from @BBCRadio3
Wherever you are, whether you celebrate, whatever you're up to, we have music for your Christmas Day - Breakfast is live with the expected and a little unexpected numbers to start your day.
Get that festive kettle on! 🎄🫖
