"Don't sleep on Instruments: I can’t believe how good this tool is" -- great article by @thorstenball on Xcode's performance profiling tools: registerspill.thorstenball.c…
The Profiling Tools team at Apple is looking for summer interns! Our team builds Xcode Instruments. Recently we have built profiling tools for Apple Vision Pro, Swift Concurrency profiling, HTTP Traffic analysis, and more. If this kind of
work excites you, please reach out!
What I love about this team is just enormous breath of Apple technologies we get to work with.
To learn more about the kind of work that our team does can watch some of our recent WWDC sessions.

academic friends I am asking for your help spreading the @hcpunion solidarity letter
this moment is important bc in part it is a demand that arts workers are given the same dignity & respect as stem workers & until the "real world" gives academia a reason to respect us it won't
Hey everyone, I am participating in the App performance, power, and stability Ask Apple session tomorrow at 10am. If you have any questions on how to optimize your apps or how to use our performance tools, sign up and submit questions!

The barista in my office now recognizes me and starts making my order before I even ask for it. I can now never change my coffee order ever again.
My Uber driver has MSNBC on their media center while driving… how is this legal?!? A car driver should not be able to watch TV while driving on the highway

Probably the best #WWDC video I’ve seen on async/await is actually wrapped in a “Check out new Instruments features” package.

This whole video is an excellent overview on async/await/actors, and the Instruments stuff looks 😗👌🏻
