That GM a bad man!!! 🔥🔥🔥 sounds like the run game about to pick up!!
🚨𝗧𝗥𝗔𝗗𝗘 𝗔𝗟𝗘𝗥𝗧: OL Quenton Nelson has been traded to the Seahawks.
(@AdamSchefter)
Les souvenirs… 🤣 Un run game dégueulasse, Mike Davis nous avait apporté un peu de folie en cours de saison, j’ai adoré ce joueur !
LFFFFGGGGGGGGGGGG
Trade: The #Colts are sending eight-time Pro-Bowl guard Quenton Nelson to the #Seahawks, per @AdamSchefter and me.
Nelson is on an expiring contract and the Colts get back draft capital now before they could lose him in free agency. A Colts legend goes to the champs.

Seahawks have only lost 6 games since beginning of 2025. 21-6 record, including playoffs.
Combined margin of loss in 6 losses?
17 points 🤯
2025
🔸 W1: Lost 17-13 to SF
🔸 W5: Lost 38-35 to TB
🔸 W11: Lost 21-19 to LAR
2026
🔸 W3: Lost 33-31 to WSH
🔸 W5: Lost 32-29 to SF
🔸 W6: Lost 17-14 to DEN in OT
Margin of loss tells you a lot about a team.
➡️ SEA is incredibly consistent in their high level of play. Maximum they have lost by is 4 points. Average is under a FG.
Even in their very rare “off-weeks” with more mistakes & sometimes many (INTs, etc), they come remarkably close to fully being able to absorb & overcome them.
They are a ridiculously tough out.
Opponents must bring their A+ game, starting strong, playing cleaner & creating and/or capitalizing on every mistake to beat them.
➡️ 5 out of SEA’s 6 losses came when the opposing team was both leading at the half & won the turnover battle.
2nd halves were either reciprocal scoring drives with opponents maintaining a small lead or see-sawing heavyweight bouts with the lead going back & forth down to the wire.
In only 1 loss did SEA both lead at halftime (by 3 points) & have same number of turnovers as their opponent (2). That was W1 2025 vs SF
🚨 Teams down by more than a FG at halftime have not beaten SEA in the last two seasons.
Second half down by a TD+ comebacks don’t exist in their world.
⚠️ Teams who lose the turnover battle haven’t beaten them either.

True message to the doubters. Teams will have ups and downs but great coaching and player excellence will come thru.

THE KICK TO THE MIDSECTION… FOLLOWED BY THE FLAG GETTING LAUNCHED FROM THE GROUND.
THIS ENTIRE SEQUENCE IS HILARIOUS BY THE REF.
TEARS 😭😭😭
Du premier coup ! C’est un signe ??! Mais du coup, quel intérêt après avoir laissé partir notre MVP ? Le message est mauvais, on s’est trompé, on le sait.
Vôtre avis mes amis @SeahawksFRA @JacoJr12

#Seahawks OC Brian Fluery on his offense:
"We've improved in certain areas that we wanted to improve. We were able to target some things that we haven't been doing as much. We were able to feature quick game [gain] being one of them, a little bit more efficient there. Tried to show some improvement on third downs; we didn't get the result we wanted, too, but everyone is disappointed in that. In terms of improvement? We are trending in the right direction."
Said that the coaching staff came in over the weekend despite most teams taking the day off. But Fluery said that they put in a lot of hours:
"Taking the time to look at the film from the first 6 games and evaluate what we are doing well at every level, generally, systematically, even at a position level, highlight some things we can lean into and focus on moving forward to give us something to succeed."
Said that there was more process, and more aligned over the weekend
States that no one is pounding the panic button so far and that we will see the offense come to life through the season.
On being in shotgun a lot during the Broncos game:
"Leaned to it during the second half more than I would want to." Basic because he trusted Sam Darnold, wanted to go to Tory and Rashid more because JSN was being doubled, team.
On the run gam,e:
"Room for improvement, and we can deal with some moving places there. We identify some schemes and movements that we don't have to use as much," Like the block combos, and lean into those more often. Some other stuff they don't want to feature in it.
On Zach Charbonnet:
"Lots of reinsurance out there. The offensive line has a lot of faith when we give Zach the ball that he is not only going to hit the hole where it is supposed to be, but he can generate and make extra yards, and it's a momentum thing with shared past experience. Not that the other guys can't do that, but they know what they are getting"
Also says he looks great and can't wait to get him out there. But excited for that moment to come.
On Rashid Shaheed being in the backfield
"There are different ways to get him involved. It won't be eliminated from there when Zach gets back here."
On Elijah Arroyo:
"It is very disappointing to lose Elijah; I was happy with his development. I know that he did not have the pass-catching production that everyone was looking forward to, but he has grown a lot as a player, and we were getting a lot out of using him in different ways of how the defenses were reacting; it is disappointing to lose that element, but I do have a lot of confidence in the three that will have the majority of the snaps now."
Fluery says that they have identified what they need to fix and move on.
