My ballot is better

In 1996 @BYUfootball we lost our 3rd game of the season to unranked Washington in Husky Stadium. Huge letdown after beating #13 Texas A&M in Cougar Stadium in the Kick-Off Classic. LaVell settled us down. Told us to take the L like men and focus on the task still at hand. “Win the league. Win the rest of our games.” Won the next 11 straight. Won the Holy War. Won the WAC Championship. Won the Cotton Bowl. Became the first NCAA Division I-A team to win 14 games in a single season. Ended up #5 in the country. Probably the best team in BYU history. Let’s get to work!

The disciples watched Jesus die on Friday, not knowing what Sunday would bring. What looked like the end was only the beginning. A reminder that some of life’s greatest blessings come after its darkest moments. Don’t lose faith in the middle of the story.

🚨🚨BREAKING🚨🚨 BYU fans are calling for the team to SUSPEND QB Bear Bachmeier after he was caught swearing on national television. Bachmeier appeared to say “HOLY SH*T” during the game. BYU has a strict honor code, which prohibits profane language.

It’s hard to live up to the magical week at BYU, but safe to say the Gameday crew HATED SLC! Utah fans are an entitled bunch.
