Pretty wild that Apple has spent basically 20 years telling us that touch-screen laptops are horrible due to ergonomics/arm fatigue and they are going to do it anyways tomorrow -- and not address the problem they proclaimed exists whatsoever. Either way I am pumped.

Western team have independently verified that DeepSeek's performance numbers of 38$ dollar revenue per GPU at DeepSeek's rocket bottom prices is true. This is a momemnt when you update your priors. At this rate with just 1 GW, you can make a revenue of 150B per year. Even with lot of slack it would be 100B per year. If you use half the compute to come online by 2027 end, you will have 25GW for inference with potentially 2.5T revenue at DeepSeek rates and 10T at USA lab rates (world GDP is 125 T, 10T is 8% of it) You answer for your-self are we overbuilding!!!

This is really interesting. All of OpenRouter's Deepseek demand (roughly 30% of total OR token traffic) could be satisfied by 5-10 GB300 NVL72 racks. Even if that 10x over the next year, it's 50-100 racks. NVIDIA is shipping 90k racks next year? What am I missing?

This marks a deterioration from a -20% YoY decline in the first 8 months of 2026. The latest drop is also significantly worse than the -16% decline recorded during the 2020 pandemic. Property investment in China has now contracted every month since 2022, its longest declining streak on record.
