Truck-photo.com/shop < link to shop Spend your hard earned dollars with me in this inflationary environment and in return you’ll receive 1 or more but not a number to exceed 170 truck photography calendars. Don’t want to buy 1 or 170? No wall space? The calendar doesn’t fit into your highly curated space and it would upset the “vibe”? No problem! Buy 1 or more for your friends/family/clients/enemies. Still not opening up your wallet? Fine. I tried. Please like and RT this post with your network as that helps and won’t cost you but 5 seconds of your time. I know time is finite and I hope my time here sharing my work has earned me 5 seconds. Thanks! #trucking

@Hillarymhagen went on a rant today; and it's worth reading.... I sat down to write a recruiting ad and instead wrote a rant. I deleted it, rewrote it, deleted it again, and here we are. Apparently I've got something to say. STOP BLAMING DRIVERS FOR LEAVING JOBS THAT NEVER EXISTED. Trucking loves to complain about drivers jumping from company to company. Heck, I used to see it as a red flag on applications. But over the years I've realized job jumping is the SYMPTOM. Here's my hot take: TRUCKING DOESN'T HAVE A DRIVER LOYALTY PROBLEM. IT HAS A BROKEN PROMISE PROBLEM. Drivers aren't changing companies because they love orientation videos and drug tests. They're leaving because what they were sold and what they got were two different things. Then they're blamed for walking away. Companies keep peddling recruiting fairy tales, leaving drivers to figure out which promises are worth believing. At Hell Bent Xpress, I believe loyalty starts before the first load. It starts with telling the truth. NO BAIT. NO SWITCH. NO RECRUITING FAIRY TALES. Trucking isn't all sunshine and rainbows. Freight changes. Some weeks are better than others. Plans go sideways. Experienced drivers know that. We're not perfect, and we won't tell you whatever you want to hear just to get your ass in a truck. We'll tell you what you can realistically expect and let YOU decide if we're right for you. KEEPING DRIVERS SHOULDN'T START WITH BIGGER PROMISES. IT SHOULD START WITH KEEPING THE ONES YOU MAKE. And drivers? You deserve honest answers, but you've got to ask tough questions, too. Ask about the bad weeks. Ask what happens when plans fall apart. Don't let anyone sell you a dream without asking what happens when reality shows up. If you're considering Hell Bent Xpress, ask us those same questions. I'D RATHER HAVE AN EMPTY SEAT THAN FILL IT WITH A BROKEN PROMISE. Ready for a different recruiting conversation? Call me directly at 605-982-0284. End rant.

To welcome me to the new Mack Customer Council they sent me some glasses and coasters to drink my bourbon. I have to admit being invited to speak on behave of small fleets in this council is slightly intimidating and nerve-wracking. And at some point they're going to realize I'm just a driver 🤫

That can't use me on high value loads because we have to do 15 loads first to be considered a good carrier for them but we've only done 3. Thats a shitty criteria in my opinion. 🤦‍♂️

I had a feeling these new Mack Anthems would be the trick for grain wagons. I'm loving the graphics.

Good sunday morning, are you into 80's hair metal? Do I have the perfect song for you then. That has to be the greatest use of AI. Hymnal remakes.

When I decided to spec this truck 3 and half years ago and take a chance on doing open deck within our fleet, I knew it was going to be something special, for me that is. We broke from our mold of highly aerodynamic trucks in favor of a chrome traditional looking truck. This day was probably always going to come. The day you haul the last load and move on. I'm sure someday I will see it again going down the road and know someone else loves it as much as me.

Did every auto manufacturer watch Tesla literally launch a car last night and think but does it have Android Auto like our vehicle? 😆

“Do not be deceived: God cannot be mocked. A man reaps what he sows. ” Galatians 6:7 NIV Every Thursday I'm in Aberdeen and not trucking, I attend a men's Bible study. Would highly recommend to anyone. When the kids say 6 7 to me, I remember Galatians.

You know the deal by now, the darker the red the steeper the hike. 15 cents on average diesel fuel rises tonight. Nevada coming in with a strong 30 cent jump and Colorado 27 cents. If you're wondering if rates have followed on the open market, I would say no they haven't.

Hell Bent Xpress is down to just 2 legacy Anthems remaining for sale. The most bad ass one we ever spec'd for a flatbed or tanker work is up next to be sold. Absolutely a favorite of mine but its better off in the hands of someone who could use it to its full potential than ours. Its long and shiny. Room for another axle or a blower if you do pneumatic work. The possibilities are endless.

If your state is light green than diesel fuel went down 1 to 3 cents. If you're light yellow, than up 1 to 3 cents. If you're in the dark red, you're f****d. Up 20 cents in the great lakes region.

On average diesel fuel will go up 19 cents tonight. Colorado wins the race at 40 cents. Its a big 💩 sandwich and we're all going to take a bite.
