Not beating the jet lag allegations. I was at dinner last night about to pass out and the sweet owner of the restaurant was trying to strike up conversation and I loved it but also ma’am I can barely speak English right now let alone remember what I need to say in Japanese 😭

No, but seriously, it’s actually fucking gross that the president of the United States is openly salivating and lusting over an intellectually captured Black woman (who is loving it btw) in the most lurid way in a public setting like a fucking piece of meat everything is gross

It’s very funny to me that an affair, even with non-famous people, is typically interesting to observe but this one of just clips of the most boring conversations anyone would ever be witness to

Even innocuous conversations can be flipped into the most scandalous things ever when you put them in context of maydecember boss/coworker affair and yet I’m seeing 5 minutes of people talking about a water bottle. And y’all would watch this for entertainment ???

It has been raining nonstop all day. My beautiful blowout didn’t stand a chance. It seems the Japanese love warm temperatures. Every store had the heat on even though it is a smooth 70 degrees outside.

I bought throat spray and lozenges because I already know my body cannot take this weather. Finally checked in to my hotel. I should grab dinner but the thought of going outside again is stressing me out 😭

Zara opens at 10 and there’s a mall that opens at 10:30 🤸🏾‍♀️
The Japanese people not believing in opening stores until 11 am is inspiring and also a pain in my ass 😭

Another great thing is that Tokyo and AT&T have some sort of deal because I’ve been automatically connecting to wifi the whole day

2013 is about love. Dont kiss people 'ironically' this year. Look at them in the eyes and say "This is real" then press your lips into them.

Watching Mary’s son is very uncomfortable…

Mind you buying those items separately is still technically pre packed unless she’s making it all from scratch I guess but given she’s buying pre shredded bag lettuce I’m leaning towards not
Some people are genuinely stupid and it’s clear no one is telling them they are. Just saw a girl say she doesn’t know why she buys Cesar salad kits because she throws out the cheese, dressing, and croutons because pre-packaged items give her the ick. So why not just buy lettuce??

Amanda contemplated her role in potentially causing distress to Elizabeth and came to the correct conclusion that 1) she’s an actress playing a part and 2) the dropout not being 100% accurate in the specific convos and actions doesn’t matter when the truth IS the Liz is a LIAR!

And Elizabeth pulling the whole “i can’t believe another women did this to me” should clue you in to how fraudulent she is and that she’s not actually hurt about Amanda’s portrayal because it’s inaccurate but because it exposed the truth of her sociopathy to the public

Before Dropout, the Theranos scandal was limited to people who are in the industry and people who are into this sort of corporate crime news. The show really made her solidly known as a fraud and she’s mad she can’t go do her grift to a new audience.

(loud incorrect buzzer noise) she’s an actress. she did her job. no one got hurt. grow up.
I think Nathan Fielder did a really good job with You Can See Everything. Especially in showing how unwilling Amanda Seyfried was to acknowledge her own role in potentially harming another person. He had everyone looking at one another and questioning everyone else’s intentions, while seemingly being completely unwilling to examine their own behavior. I thought Amanda’s resistance to doing that was especially revealing I also obviously think Billy is terrible. I think he’s cruel and exploitative. I’ve seen Elizabeth’s tweets for years and thought they were her. Finding out they’re his was jarring and sad. But as much as I dislike Billy, I think he made a very good point. Why would he care what Amanda thinks? She’s an actress who has profited from portraying his wife as a bizarre and dishonest and manipulative freak to an audience that is largely voyeuristic, incredibly binary in their moral thinking, and seemingly unable to separate fiction from reality I don’t think that Amanda needed to defend Elizabeth or excuse anything she’s done but I do think it’s bizarre how unwilling she seemed to consider that she might have contributed to another person’s suffering
