Practicing my chat game for tonight’s chats with @hellohahko . Shame on Jabcinda for deliberately destroying Wishbone to spite Nicola Willis by depriving her of her favourite egg and spinach sandwich!

Excited to be chatting to @JMulliganRNZ at 1:45pm today about the score to "Far North" (will play a couple of snippets from the score!) and Thursday night's gig with @hellohahko in Wellington.

Just making sure I’ve got something “we all know” ready for Thursday night’s gig in case the originals flop.

it’s really sad if Ned Stark never busted down Ashera Dayne even once. that means basically nothing fun ever happened in his life. just all grim duty and his wife getting mad at him for a break baby he didn’t actually conceive

The $27 billion dollar music recording industry went all in on TikTok/streaming, and is now wondering why they now don't have marketable IP.
To put this into perspective, this would be like if the Hollywood went all in on 15-second Family Guy clips.

Forced us all onto platforms that reduce our art and now sad that it’s hard to find breakthrough artists 👩🎨
Music executives tell Billboard that they are worried and depressed as the industry struggles to find big artist breakthroughs, noting Olivia Rodrigo and Ice Spice as the last recently successful ones.
“Nobody knows how to break music right now… Each person I talk to in the industry is more depressed [about this] than the person I talked to before them”

Seeing people’s careers crumble before my very eyes because they’re saving shit to try and crack the label system then never put it out because they’ve “outgrown” the music they’ve been holding onto for years. Just put it the fuck out 🫠
