Three RWA projects I interviewed recently, each bringing something different onchain. From physical collectibles to traditional trading strategies and yield-bearing gold, here's what caught my attention👇 1. Paxxel - @hellopaxxel : Paxxel is bringing physical collectibles onchain through "reverse tokenization". Here's how it works: > Initially, 64 tradeable tokens are minted per asset (PSA graded slab) > Six trading rounds of 2 minutes follow, with ~50% of remaining claims randomly burned after each trading round until only one token survives, winning a claim over the slab > Each buyer can hold a maximum of 16 tokens, ensuring at least 4 buyers participate. > At the end, the winner can withdrawal the card or list it for sale in a marketplace. What makes it interesting? Paxxel uses Chainlink VRF for verifiable randomness, making the elimination process fully automated. No manual burns. No game server controlling outcomes. No house edge. Interesting thing is Founder Dan already runs a physical collectibles store and aims to bring those assets onchain through Paxxel. Definitely an interesting project im keeping a close eye on. ----------------------------------------- 2. QMC - @qmcfinance : There are thousands of skilled traders with proven track records, but most lack the tools and distribution to attract capital. QMC is trying to solve this by bringing off-chain trading strategies onchain. Think of QMC as doing for off-chain traders what Hyperliquid did for onchain traders giving them the infrastructure to bring their strategies onchain. Its making traditional trading strategies accessible to stablecoin investors through onchain vaults. Despite launching less than a month ago, QMC has already attracted: > $755K in TVL > 10 active vaults > 6 portfolio managers/traders and 10 more in the pipeline. The bigger goal isn't just to build another vault platform. It wants to become the infrastructure connecting skilled traders, stablecoin capital, and financial platforms. What interests me most is the opportunity to bring proven off-chain trading strategies into DeFi. Instead of relying only on crypto-native strategies, investors could gain access to a much wider range of trading opportunities. Definitely an interesting space to watch ----------------------------------------- 3. Syncrate - @syncratefinance : The future of gold isn't just holding it. It's putting it to work. Syncrate aims to turn passive gold holdings into yield-generating assets through DeFi. Here's how it works: 1. SGLD -> Tokenized Gold Each SGLD represents exposure to one troy ounce of gold held through Syncrate's custody infrastructure, making gold usable across DeFi. 2. sySGLD -> Yield-Bearing Gold Built on SGLD, sySGLD puts gold-backed capital to work through real-world financing to generate yield. Syncrate launched an 8-week points program, distributing 10M points weekly: > 7M points for new SGLD minting, holding, and DeFi usage. > 3M points for LPs who supply SGLD/USDC liquidity on Uniswap through the Saffron x Syncrate liquidity campaign.
