Waking up pre 6am is always such a pain in the ass.
But for me, it’s always turned into a better day.
Prepping for Monday on Sunday night is a superpower.
For sure enjoy the weekend, but even one hour to think on how best to start my week has had huge returns.
Can totally attest to this from 20yr of writing audio copy. Always lean positive. No one wants to be scared or negged into anything. research-live.com/article/ne…
Good!
There is a TON of absolute trash inventory out there. marketingbrew.com/stories/20…

Breakdown...
1. Amazon
Here's the craziest part....
Amazon spent $20.6 billion, which makes them the biggest advertiser EVER.
However, they made $37.7 billion from their own ad platform.
Amazon now make more from ads than they do from Prime.
2. Where is Apple?
Only spent $1.8 billion in 2022. Close - but no cigar.
3. What about Pharma?
Pfizer is the largest ad spender in Pharma - but only spent $2.8 billion.
4. What about Meta?
Zuck almost made it to the list...
Amount spent: $2.6 billion
Revenue: $116.6 billion
ROAS: 44.8x
5. US Dominance 🇺🇸
The vast majority of the companies are from the USA:
🇨🇳 China has 4 companies = Ali, Bytedance, JD and Tencent.
🇫🇷 France has 2 companies = LVMH and L'Oreal
🇪🇺 UK, Netherlands, Switzerland and Belgium have 1 company each = Unilever, Stellantis, Nestle and Anheuser respectively
Coffee, a little exercise and make the bed. It’s great how the little stuff sets the tone for the rest of the day.

Is there a LOT of grift in the Austin start up scene? Had seen it mentioned, but I’ve only personally come across it a few times.
On the way up?
