Amateur Orchestras: can classical music survive without them? Interest in my Musical Opinion feature has been overwhelming. See pages 2, 3 and 4 here. @fhvln @henleyso @ClassicalMusic_ @classicjacko @TrinityLaban @wrexhamorch @LiverpoolMozart
Now’s a good time to buy tickets for our next concert!
It’s the week after next - in the church next to Henley’s bridge, so why not combine it with a riverside stroll & some pre-Regatta peeks?

Renowned Double Bassist Appointed as New Symphony Orchestra Conductor & Artistic Director - Henley Herald henleyherald.com/2023/01/20/…
We got a mention on Radio 3’s In Tune thanks to our new artistic director @leonbosch ! A most fascinating interview about his other projects too, recorded just the day after our 1st rehearsal together.
@thekatiederham is an engaging host, and it was fun talking to her about my myriad musical projects. Performing some of @grantmclachlan's music was bonus. And I now look forward to my first concert with the @henleyso
