Last Friday, announcing a “massive deal” with Moscow, he claimed that large quantities of oil and diesel would be coming to the United States — exactly what America and its farmers needed. Four days later, after it became clear that the diesel volumes involved wouldn't even cover a single day of U.S. demand, Trump offered a completely different explanation.
