Education is a big part of Cycol. I was a NYC Arts Educator for 18 years so it’s part of the fabric of Cycol 2.0. And as we partner with schools such as Leaders of Tomorrow in the Bronx and hopefully others, we will only expand on this vision. Our weekly Education Co-op that’s been in full swing since September made a trip yesterday to @MovingImageNYC. They learned about light painting, stop motion animation, foley art, game design, puppeteering, and were able see the Jim Henson exhibition. Our theme this semester involves storytelling and this trip did not disappoint. I’ve been there a few times before and this place remains one of my absolute favorite museums in the city, especially for kids.
