For years, events meant Google Forms, bank transfers, Excel chaos, printed lists. So we built Flowvent. Register. Pay. Auto-assign teams. Walk in with a QR code. 16,080 registrations. ₦50M+ processed. All word-of-mouth. Now it’s open to everyone @ flowvent.app

The week of your event shouldn’t look like a WhatsApp group. Describe your event. Flowvent writes the form, sells the tickets, and checks guests in with a QR code. One list. Every guest. No spreadsheets.

Maybe trying to replicate Vercel’s deployment speed for nextJS on my VPS wasn’t a bad idea. Still not as fast.

The global AI logistics market is exploding, projected to grow by 46.7% annually through 2033. If you aren't upgrading to a smart operating system, you are leaving money in the gutter... First content btw.

Six months ago, if you had asked me how my year was going, I would have highlighted a loss and told you the year has been pretty shitty. But I’d be doing God a big injustice if I ended the story there, so let me give a proper breakdown of how the first six months of my year have been. January & February: My family broke apart. My mum had a major health issue. I lost my 2 jobs. I had to stay in a different city with my mum just to take care of her. Whatever dreams I had for the new year had shattered. March & April: I threw my mum a surprise birthday party with a starting amount of ₦9k in my bag. By the time the party was done, I had $100 in my account. There’s nothing God cannot do. End of April & May: I got a foreign gig that pays me 2–3x what I was earning from all my jobs last year combined. I became a breadwinner. My Product Management Academy launched its 3rd cohort, and one of the things in our 3–5 year plan started happening in year one—companies started reaching out directly to hire PMs from us. June: I went to camp with the intention of not standing out. I won Miss BBB. I participated in debate, drama, singing, dancing, volleyball, martial arts, Man O’ War… I won awards for my platoon and got handshakes from people in power that I never thought I’d ever meet. Now, the moral of this story is two things: 1.James says to let patience have her perfect work. During my stage of misery, the one constant I had was the assurance that I serve a living God. And Baba turned up for me like mad. 2.I have an excellent spirit that even I myself cannot quench, and it’s about time I let it shine. I’m still building though. I even got a rejection for a grant today. But I know the God I serve. I know the spirit in me. And I will always win.
Today is the last day of June What have you achieved this year ?

So if you buy a new laptop and mistakenly uninstall the browser that comes with it, how would you download the browser back since you don’t have a browser to install the browser?🤔🤔

Soo, I did learn how to make use of rAF better now. requestAnimationFrame, calls a function every single frame which is like 60 times per second... This is the most efficient method I've tried out so far.

I just built a matching engine that feels like magic, hehe. No Pinecone. No Weaviate. No complex infra. Just Go + Postgres. Here’s the logic behind the "Hybrid Search" architecture that powers our new marketplace.

5. Why you should use this pattern: If you are building: A Marketplace Dating App Content Feed You need both "Hard Constraints" (Must live in NYC) and "Soft Matches" (Likes Jazz). Postgres + pgvector handles this natively without the overhead of a separate vector service.

Plssss stop over-engineering. You probably don't need a specialized vector database until you hit 100M+ vectors. For everything else? CREATE EXTENSION vector; is all you need. #buildinginpublic #golang #postgres #ai #Engineering
