GShell everyone! We are excited to announce that after some discussion between the original founder of Shellmates and myself, @SkippedOutt, I have officially been able to take over the project, the keys and its assets.
I love these turtles and once I started collecting I couldn't stop. The art was too good and too appealing. It attracted a real community and holders who stuck around.
I know the last stretch has been rough, but together we can build something that this collection deserves. I am stoked to outlast the hares with you all and show the world true turtle power!

As part of @SkippedOutt taking over @heyshellmates I agreed to take Ty (the original founders) 250-251 Shells with the promise to never sell, transfer or trade them
This was mainly to prevent a big sell off. If the community prefers I burn or donate them to treasury, I’m down. The main goal was to get the supply so it didn’t hurt the project if dumped etc
I also moved 40 of mine to that same wallet. I will be #1 holder of the project, proud and happy to support Skipped and his ambition for the project
Skipped and I have been friends for a few months, though I don’t know him super well or inside out… he called for my advice before buying the project and answered the important questions very well
For me, I’m just happy to support a project that I really liked… that got rugged… being revived and saved
I’ll be here rooting for and helping @SkippedOutt when he needs it… I have no equity or official partnership at all …
It’s clear that people love the art, love the project as there’s been a great wave of momentum since the announcement

Hello all. I’m here to apologise. Something happened in my life and I failed everyone, I dealt with my situation terribly. What I did was not right and I wish I could go back and change my decisions.
I have passed the project onto @SkippedOutt who was a top holder and an amazing guy. For anyone concerned about the 250+ NFTs in my wallet, I am sending them to @RealPapii today.
I hope you all see that this was not my intention. I really was passionate about Shellmates and I was really looking forward to the future.
The situation proved I was not capable of continuing the project myself. I had to come back and pass on the project because the potential for Shellmates is still there and I didn’t want it or the community to go waste.
It’s true what they say. Projects are extremely hard to build and unless you are 100% certain you can take on the challenges alongside real life challenges, then you shouldn’t start a project.
I will be supporting Shellmates from here forward and joining the community, so that I can stay in the web3 world which I always loved.
I don’t expect anyone to forgive me, I just had to say this. It was on my mind everyday. Best of luck to Skipped and the future for Shellmates ❤️🤝
