Apparently, the Harry Potter team used photos of Tom Felton’s dad and his three older brothers, even studying their hairlines and facial features, to work out what Draco Malfoy should look like for the 19 years later scene. 😭 The idea was to make adult Draco feel like a believable older version of Tom, rather than just ageing him randomly for the Deathly Hallows epilogue. Tom has since joked that the real 38-year-old version of himself has turned out “somewhat more flattering” than the film predicted. Honestly, the epilogue really did age everyone with absolutely no mercy.
