I gave in to the heat this weekend and got a smart portable aircon (works great btw🤩). Sadly, the official app doesn’t recognize newer models so I hacked my way into repurposing an old Android 8 phone into a linux server that gives me AC control from my device(s) at home/remotley & unofficially works with Siri 😁 Such a ‘cool’ side project ❄️😆

I went a little further than the official app and implemented my energy usage per rand whilst the Android server efficiently maintains the desired room temperature.

As for the portable aircon - it works like a charm. It was 32 degrees outside today and it easily maintained the room at 22 degrees. The only downside is it can get a little noisy at higher fan rates otherwise I recommend the concept. The energy consumption is modest. 7/10 overall.

He said how happy he was to do American Dad! because he was so rarely asked to do comedy, which is insane, as his ability to get the laugh was uncanny. Thank you, Sir, for sharing your joyful spirit, inspiring voice, and willingness to be ridiculous. Its terrible, I almost got lost. I contacted some of the platforms and asked for a permanent ban, I had someone to put screentime password and block the sites, I downloaded gamban. I told myself I was now an addict, sought help and most of all had to pray & fast. Aviator is hell!
