There are 200+ tools selling B2B contact data.
Another one launched this week...
And this one gives the data away for free.
I genuinely can't tell most of them apart.
Data is a commodity now.
Here's where the edge moved in my opinion:
1/ The question you ask the data
One client went from 0.8% to 11% reply rate by changing the question:
from "US companies, 50-500 employees"
to "companies that hired a Head of Data in the last 90 days"
2/ Coverage in your market
The one real difference I see between providers is who they cover well, and where.
That's why we waterfall several of them instead of betting on one.
3/ Speed
When a positive reply lands, our waterfall finds the phone number within 30 seconds and a caller rings while the interest is still warm.
8 out of 10 of those calls book a demo.
4/ What you say.
A great email to the wrong company is still a bad email. A free list doesn't write the offer for you.
5/ The channels around it.
Email, LinkedIn and the phone, together.
Multichannel gets us about 287% more engagement than a single channel.
Free data lowers the floor for everyone.
It doesn't raise anyone's ceiling.
introducing @loopsterGTM - one GTM platform for a flat price, where the data is free.
we’re putting agencies back at front seat by flipping the pricing upside down.
all the data is given for free. it’s sourced by the users, and it’s given for free to the users.
here’s how it works /n
3 dials.
3 booked meetings.
That one evening saved a client we were ready to churn. Today 8 out of 10 positive replies we call book a demo.
Here's what happened:
@harrikonola and I took on a tough client.
The emails worked.
Replies kept coming in, plenty of them positive.
Not one of them turned into a booked meeting.
We were stressed.
We were ready to churn the client.
Then one evening we tried something simple.
We handed the positive replies to one of our callers and asked him to ring them.
He called 3 prospects.
He booked 3 meetings.
We couldn't believe it.
Eureka.
A positive reply is interest.
A call turns that interest into a meeting while it's still warm.
So we rolled it out across every client, in all 20 countries we cover, with callers in the local language.
Now 8 out of 10 positive replies we call book a demo.
That only works with the right setup behind it:
→ Salesforge(.)ai runs cold email and LinkedIn at scale
→ the moment a positive reply lands, a data waterfall finds the phone number within 30 seconds. We use leadsforge(.)ai and prospeo(.)io both with great coverage across the markets we serve
→ an agent we built with Claude Code sits in Slack and pings the caller as soon as the number is in
→ the caller dials while the reply is still warm
Positive replies don't book themselves.
Someone has to pick up the phone.

5-8% reply rates from one customer domain.
That's the lookalike play.
Here's the whole campaign we run, end to end, with every tool in it.
1/ The seed
Ask the client for their single best customer. Not the biggest. The one that closed fast, onboarded clean and still renews.
Biggest is often the outlier you got lucky with. Best is the one you can repeat. That one domain is the whole input.
2/ The lookalikes
Run the domain through Ocean.io, AI Ark, Prospeo and Clay's own company search.
Each tool finds companies the others miss, so we use all four. Everything lands in one Clay table, merged and deduped.
3/ The contacts
Prospeo pulls verified emails for the decision makers at every match.
No verified email, no row. Every bounce burns a little of your sending domain, so the list gets verified before a single email goes out.
4/ The research
One AI column in Clay per company: what they sell, who they sell to, what changed recently.
The first line of every email gets written from that column. The AI does the research. A human still owns the offer.
5/ The copy
A lookalike list gives you one line most cold emails can't use:
"We already did this for a company that looks exactly like yours."
It's true for every prospect on the list, because that's how the list was built. Keep the rest short. One clear question, no pitch.
6/ The sequence
Salesforge runs the outreach multichannel, email and LinkedIn in one sequence:
→ email first, to warm the name
→ LinkedIn next, so the name feels familiar
→ then the call
Multichannel gets us about 287% more engagement than a single channel. One channel is one point of failure.
7/ The call
Trellus for the dials.
By the time we call, the prospect has seen our name twice, in the inbox and on LinkedIn. It barely counts as a cold call anymore.
The whole campaign in one line:
One best customer → four lookalike sources → one deduped Clay table → verified contacts → AI research → a short email → a Salesforge sequence across email and LinkedIn → the phone.
5-8% reply rates on lookalike lists, against 2-3% on cold ones. All of it starts with one customer who already bought.
ranking every outbound tool we actually pay for, at 300k emails a month:
s tier
> salesforge: email and linkedin in one place, plus api, mcp and cli, so we build on top of it instead of clicking through it
> prospeo: our data backbone. emails and phone numbers behind most of the meetings we book
> claude code: scrapers, list cleaning, campaign analysis, agents. what we build everything else with
a tier
> clay: enrichment and scoring when one data source isn't enough. powerful, but not a fit for every business. if your targeting is simple, it's overkill
> leadsforge: waterfall enrichment at a fraction of what most of the market charges
> apify: scraping the places nobody else looks. yellow pages, job boards, your own followers
b tier
> instantly and heyreach: we ran both before switching. they work and plenty of teams are happy on them. we needed one tool with an api instead of two dashboards
starting from zero this week?
prospeo + salesforge + claude code.
add clay when one data source stops being enough.
YouTube Experts:
I grew my #YouTube channel about GTM to 450 subs in just a year.
it's going pretty well, but I would love to get some tips on what I can improve in order to attract qualified audience.
any advice is highly appreciated

I'm looking to #connect with people who are interested in:
- GTM
- Cold outbound
- AI in sales
- Building systems
If you're working on something cool, drop it in comments and let's connect
if you're new to outbound and your first campaign got zero replies...
I got you.
here are 5 plays beginners can run this week:
5/ event outbound
cost: the ticket + an enrichment tool
numbers: 25%+ (by far the best one)
get the attendee list. most events share it or have an app.
send before you go: "saw you're attending [event], i'll be there too. want to grab a coffee?"
a week after, message everyone you didn't meet. almost nobody sends that one.
whichever play you run, call every positive reply within 5 minutes.
don't send a calendar link and wait.
that one habit took us to 8-9 out of 10 positive replies turning into booked meetings.
if you want to build outbound for your own b2b company, book a call with our team here:

just got a gift from @prospeo_io 🙏
they're the data behind most of the ~1500 meetings we book for clients every month. (both phone and email)
appreciate the partnership.
if your bounce rate is hurting you, you know where to look.
