the way people talk about harry always makes me feel like he’s an alien from another planet or something, they’re always so surprised by how kind and professional he is and it just makes me want to spend an entire day shadowing him and talking to him just so i can experience what they experience too
“However many pictures we could get done in the space of a day, we were just going to absolutely smash this out. And Harry’s got the ability and the capacity to do that. He can do a quick change and he’s back out there again, and we just change a background or a context, and we’re in. And you look at his audience, they’re all on board with the joy. It’s crazy. I’ve never been in a space where I could walk around as a grey-haired old man, wherever I wanted to go, and all I encountered was that happiness. Harry does it every night to audiences of tens of thousands of people over a period of two and a half hours. I watched him on stage, and I watched him in front of the camera, and I was very honest. I said, ‘There’s no point my directing you at all, is there?’ He likes to wear clothes. He likes to be seen. And he’s got a very tight hand handle on how much energy he can ascribe to that particular moment. I’ve never come across anything like that professionalism. […] For people to occupy that sort of pop centre the way that Harry has, and to be as forward-thinking as he appears to be, is intriguing to me.” - Iconic photographer David Sims on working with Harry on his W Magazine feature in Mexico earlier this year (via @BoF)

no this is so true cuz he has the right and must be EXHAUSTED. he was there for three months performing and sound checking and giving it all for three months. THREE MONTHS. As much as he loves what he does and his fans, that man deserves a rest.
I saw criticism that Harry's reaction to receiving his banner and finishing up at MSG was performative. That he was acting out the joy and pride etc. I won't elaborate. Everyone has the right to their own interpretation. Here is mine
First, obviously, I disagree. But also, I saw anything but joy, I'm not even sure I saw the euphoria that should have come with such an achievement.
I saw exhaustion and I saw flashes of grief especially in the gif attached. I saw a need for hug, his body language screamed that he wanted comfort.
By the time he was eating pizza, I saw relief that it was over.
I hope he gets the rest he deserves.

You can literally see him soaking everything in. It’s literally “there’s no difference in between the tears and the sweat” in real time while celebrating a tour that has been entirely about community and being together which is what he wrote the whole album about because moments like this literally changed his whole perspective on life and how to live it
