EIP-7702: your wallet can become a contract. Here's how to check yours.
Since Ethereum's Pectra upgrade, an ordinary wallet (an EOA) can sign one message that turns it into a smart account. That's EIP-7702. It's useful: batched transactions, someone else paying your gas, spending limits, session keys for agents.
It's also the easiest way to lose everything with one signature.
How it works
You sign an authorization saying "this wallet now runs the code at address X". It names a chain, the delegate contract and your nonce. Once it lands in a transaction, every call to your wallet runs X's code, with your balance and your tokens.
Three things most people miss:
1. It stays. A delegation doesn't expire. It lasts until you sign a new one that points somewhere else or clears it.
2. Others can trigger it. Once it's installed, anyone the delegate contract lets in can call it. A "sweep" function in a malicious delegate can move every token in one transaction, with no further signature from you.
3. Chain id 0 means every chain. An authorization signed with chain id 0 is valid on every chain that supports EIP-7702, not only the one you were looking at.
Robinhood Chain runs on Arbitrum's ArbOS, at a version past the one that added EIP-7702 (ArbOS 40), so assume all of this applies there too.
How to check whether a wallet has a delegation
Ask the chain for the wallet's code. A normal wallet has none, and the answer is 0x. A delegated wallet answers 0xef0100 followed by the delegate's address.

If you see 0xef0100…, look up the delegate address before you do anything else. If you didn't put it there, move what's left to a fresh wallet now.
Rules that keep you safe
• Never sign an "authorization", "upgrade your account" or "enable smart account" request on a site you didn't go to on purpose.
• Only delegate to a contract your wallet app names and you can read about: your wallet's own smart-account contract, not a link from a DM.
• Never sign an authorization with chain id 0 unless you mean every chain.
• If you use a 7702 account for an agent, give the agent its own wallet holding only what it needs.
• Check your wallet's code every so often, the same way you'd check token approvals.
For builders on Robinhood Chain
If your app asks users to sign a 7702 authorization, say in plain words which contract it delegates to, link its verified source, use your chain's id (never 0), and give users a one-click way to clear it. If your contract can be used as a delegate, make sure nothing in it lets an outsider move the account's funds.
EIP-7702 is a good feature. It just turns "one bad signature" into "everything, at once".
