It’s Friday. All the capitalists, “one issue” people and others who voted for him five months ago happy with how things are going so far?? Just checking.

The unrecognized failure of the Trump tariffs approach is that he is depending on big global companies to create manufacturing jobs here. He has completely ignored entrepreneurs and innovators.
Innovators and entrepreneurs will create disruption. Instead of focusing on amplifying what they are doing , he is doing deals with huge companies because he likes big headline numbers
This administration needs to realize that entrepreneurs create jobs, big companies cut them.

San Francisco's call for accountable leadership, service, and change has been heard.
I am both humbled and inspired by the great honor and privilege of serving you—the people of San Francisco—as your next Mayor.
Thank you to everyone who worked tirelessly on this campaign, and to my wife Becca, our children, and my entire family for their unwavering support. Most importantly, thank you to the people of San Francisco for placing your trust in me.
Yesterday, I received a gracious call from Mayor London Breed, who offered her assistance during this transition. We’re both committed to working together to prepare for the hard work ahead.
I entered this race not as a politician, but as a father who couldn’t explain to my children what they were seeing on our streets. For my family, and for so many others, this campaign was about fighting for the city we love.
Together, we defied cynicism and proved that hope is alive and well in San Francisco. But hope alone isn’t enough. We must turn this hope into action and results.
Our mandate is clear: deliver clean and safe streets, address our drug and behavioral health crisis, shake up a corrupt bureaucracy, build housing that our neighbors can afford, support our hardworking small businesses, and revitalize our downtown. To achieve this, we must be courageous, compassionate, and honest.
I want to assure you that the administration we’re building will reflect the diversity, passion, and dedication of San Francisco itself. The people I hire will not serve me—they will serve you and your vision for a city that listens and delivers.
As we celebrate this victory, I know many of us feel deep concern about the state of our country. Under my watch, San Francisco will stand as a beacon of inclusivity and progress, committed to defending the rights of all of our neighbors. We will address the challenges of our times with integrity and compassion.
As your mayor, I will take aim at the problems that need solving right here in San Francisco, because that is what the people of this city have elected me to do.
Together, we must roll up our sleeves. Because when San Francisco wins, we all win. I am deeply grateful for your belief in me, and I am more hopeful than ever that San Francisco, the city we love, will rise again.

131 years ago today, Colorado became the first state where women gained the right to vote by referendum.
Our state has long played a leading role in the fight for liberty and human rights. Now, we must continue our work to achieve true equality for all.

The Democrats lost badly to a Felon and a domestic terrorist who started an insurrection four years ago. The Party sucks and needs to get much much better very quickly.
Put me in, I’m Here to help!!

Kindness, compassion, dignity, grace in defeat, and acceptance of all people regardless of race, religion, ability, gender or sexual orientation are qualities I look for in a leader.
I wish I had some new political art to share but I don’t. I do however want to reshare this piece I drew on election night 2016. It’s an image that gave me hope through that dark time and I hope it can do a little of the same in quite possibly an even darker time 🖤

I believe in democracy.
We had a fair and free election.
71 Million Americans voted for the Republicans.
66 Million voted for the Democrats.
Now is the time for reflection, renewal, and reaching out.
In order to heal, we need to listen to each other.
By listening, we can build a consensus about the future of this great country.
With an eye towards protecting those who will inevitably suffer.
With an eye towards justice for those who lack power.
With an eye towards expanding freedom for those who are different.
With an eye towards protecting the rights of us to criticize the government without retaliation.
I will continue my parents' fight for fairness.
I will continue to climb and pull others along.
I appreciate all the love!
I’m fine. I left it all on the field.

I get it if you’re unfollowing or stepping away from Twitter. Last night was tough, and I’m sorry we didn’t pull it off. But before you go, I just want to say thank you for everything you did to support @KamalaHarris and Democrats across the country.
I know it might feel like all that work was for nothing with Trump winning, but honestly, you did make a real difference. There are great Democrats who wouldn’t have won without people like you fighting the good fight. Just look at how close Tammy Baldwin’s race was in Wisconsin.
If you’re sticking around—and I hope you do, because we still need you—I’m locked in and prepared to keep fighting for the values we share. We have a fight ahead to stop the worst of what they’re planning and to win back people who are frustrated with us and feel left behind by Democrats.
The cause endures.
More soon.💙

Don’t worry I don’t block people.
A blue collar yinzer raised with no money, mentored by Dean Smith, who coached 1,999 NBA games and beat cancer 3x doesn’t let much get to them - certainly not a bunch of self interested or ignorant Trump Trolls.
