This photo was taken in 2010, not long after Dylan brought Watson home as a puppy. Today would have been Dylan’s 44th birthday. We imagine the two of them are now exploring together among the stars. Happy birthday, Dylan. We hope you’re having quite the adventure out there.

On Feb 21 we said goodbye to Watson, the channel's original "household puppy". In 2010, Dylan crowdsourced his name—thank you to Mary Hunter for suggesting the name that stuck. Watson starred in his first video 2011 and brought so much joy to our lives. youtube.com/watch?v=R2gA_Nt6…

Happy New Year to the Household Hacker community! What’s always made this space special isn’t just curiosity or creativity — it’s the people who share it. Thank you for being part of this community. Wishing you all a thoughtful & curious year ahead.

Today marks Dylan's 43rd birthday. He is missed every day. In honor of his memory, here is a behind-the-scenes photo from 2015, capturing him taking a break from working on his set that, after some tweaking and paint, would later become a recognizable Household Hacker backdrop.

Watson, the channel’s original “household puppy”, turned 15 today. A heartfelt *thank you* to his puppy-sitter who didn’t miss a beat... or the opportunity to party a little.

Some of you time travelers are already there. The rest of us will arrive soon. In the interim, we want to wish everyone the very best in the new year.

Your focus determines your reality. Also, voting helps. #BattleBox

Another year is ending and with that we take time to reflect. Some things have gone well, some have not, and some things are headed in the right direction -at glacial speed. Thank you to those who have stuck by while we navigate a way to move forward. Truly. We appreciate YOU.

Today would have been Dylan’s 41st birthday. On this special day, we honor him and the legacy he left.

TBT: February 2016 the channel dropped a video about things you can do with duct tape. This behind-the-scenes shot is Dylan taking a moment to assess his handiwork before taking a break. The artist is always their own worst critic, but these came out well.

Happy New Year! As we reflect on 2022, we want express utmost appreciation for everyone who has visited the channel or come here to engage while we navigate moving forward. You, yes you, you rock it so hard.

Today would have been Dylan’s 40th birthday; a milestone. Every day, he is very much missed.

As it turns out, words DO matter. #askAlex

Hackspace magazine's current issue has a write up on Household Hacker's $8 Air Conditioner. Dylan would be PROUD. We certainly are! @HackSpaceMag hackspace.raspberrypi.com/is…

Thank you for being a strong, intelligent, and independent role model at a time when so many needed YOU. You are a queen and your legacy lives on to inspire. Goodnight Nichelle. 🖖

Today would have been Dylan’s 39th birthday. He had a strong curiosity for how things work and that fueled him to explore science, experiment with tech, and invite folks he’d never met along on the ride. -and what a ride it was. So, thank you and happy birthday.

Content that has been unavailable recently on the channel has been brought back up. We apologize for the delay. Thank you for your patience and support as we navigate things.

If you’re seeing ads on our tribute video for Dylan, it’s because @TeamCoco did a *manual* copyright claim against it because we used (and credited) 19 seconds from S3E89 where they used 38 seconds of our video. Ironic. #FairUse #RIPDylanHart
