Life is different if you don’t depend on our NHS or state schools. If you don’t need to travel by train or bus to get to work. If you swish through airports in private lounges. If you’ve never worried about losing your job, or paying the rent. Their Britain isn’t broken. Ours is.

People of the UK, never forget where all this chaos began, what is the Genesis of your global humiliation, what fired the starting gun of the British decline and what must be confronted and reversed before you can begin to recover. Brexit, it's always been Brexit.

Nearly £425,000 handed over to #Tory ministers who resigned in protest at @BorisJohnson leadership. One gained £17k for 35 hours as education sec. In a #cost-of-living crisis how can this be good use of taxpayer funds?

No, the British Empire did not "bring democracy" to their colonies in the global South. British rule was literally dictatorship. The colonized struggled and bled for the right to vote *in their own countries*.

There’s something quite powerful about Her Majesty the Queen taking tea with a Peruvian refugee who did not come to the U.K. by a legal route & who would today be in a detention centre awaiting a one way flight to Rwanda #platinumjubliee

No, the British Empire didn't just "make mistakes", with a few massacres here and there. They committed genocide on several continents, produced famines that killed tens of millions of people, and led a human trafficking cartel for 200 years. The violence was systematic.

If you’re being booed by the sort of people who turn up to watch people go into a royal church service, and you’re a *conservative* PM, you’re in trouble.

The British Empire was one of the most violent institutions in modern history, built on explicitly racist ideology and guilty of serial crimes against humanity. It is astonishing that OBEs and other honours are given, accepted and celebrated in its name.

I am sorry to say but what is the point of a Monarchy if it can’t protect its Public from a man like Johnson and his cabal

BREAKING: The Metropolitan Police have explained that senior staff didn't get fined for attending the same parties as junior staff because the senior staff refused to fill in the questionnaire. I'm not even making this up, it's really what they said! x

The entire country is being held hostage by the Prime Minister and his Government. That there is *nothing* in the British political system that can do anything about a law-breaking PM who refuses to resign is the real story. Our constitution is in slow-motion self-destruction.

Rapid inflation, rising interest rates, a looming recession and households feeling the squeeze. I ask again, where are the Brexit dividends we were promised?
