he's a genius piece of worldbuilding that brings a lot of context to alternia and what that world is, and nobody likes him. they just worship the version of him made out of shit and twigs that misses the point of the character outright

it seems to me that homestucks fan by far and large think they can stomp out systemic oppression by being "the most educated big boy" instead of realizing the nuances of conversations and when it is appropriate to have them
