#HamOnt Today, we celebrated the official opening of the new @hsr Birch Transit Centre - a major investment in Hamilton's future and an important milestone for public transit in our city.
This new facility will help HSR support a growing fleet, improve reliability and create the capacity needed as Hamilton continues to grow. While much of the work happening inside Birch Transit Centre takes place behind the scenes, the benefits will be felt every day by riders across our city.
Investments in transit are investments in people. They connect residents to jobs, schools, healthcare, recreation and opportunities, while supporting local businesses and helping reduce congestion.
Thank you to our federal and provincial partners, City staff, HSR leadership, ATU Local 107, construction partners and everyone whose hard work brought this project to life.
Together, we're building the infrastructure that will keep Hamilton moving for decades to come.

Several roads around the stadium area will be closed before, during, and after the event. Plan ahead, expect delays, and consider alternate routes.
🚫 No-Drone / No-Fly Zone:
A restricted airspace (no-drone zone) will be in effect around TD Coliseum. Unauthorized drone use is not permitted.
👮 Increased Police Presence:
You will see an increased police presence in the area to support public safety.
