Test cricket on proper pitches at great venues with good crowds should be the requirement to host test cricket. It’s the best format when played at the best grounds on proper cricket wickets and with spectator friendly stadiums at reasonable prices.

#SAFC you bag of shite. Sent 2 emails (raised a ticket), no response. In person today and been at the ground 2 hours and still minimal movement in the queue. See inside, 2 staff on. Seriously? Absolutely woeful from the club (again).

My humble take on Dan Neil. Stayed when others left. Played and Captained with pride. Took us to prem. Dignified until the end. Sad it didn’t work out this year but wish him nothing but the best. Will always be held in the highest regard here. #OneOfOurOwn #SAFC
One of the best #SAFC posts in ages. Nail on the head… I am biased but I’d keep him forever, player, coach, mentor etc etc. I grew up adoring Bally, this fella is the closest thing I’ve seen in terms of love of the club and fans.
We all know btw that O’Nien’s #SAFC days are very much numbered now exactly because the likes of Xhaka are here.
But none of us should EVER forget that no one player has done more to take Sunderland from Luke O’Nien to Granit Xhaka than Luke O’Nien.
