I'm excited and looking forward to presenting a topic that has been near and dear to me and our firm's approach to starting the lighting design process.

#Goodlighting is about creating and sustaining #qualityrelationships between people, spaces, and their environment.
We believe that great design is where the lighting shows off the form and finish of the space rather than itself.

We're very pleased with the result of a challenging, but genuinely fun project. It looks even better in real life!
We're proud to be the lighting designers for this fabulous project with an outstanding design team and Client. xitter.cf/VOADesign/status/74780…
Fantastic event with Philips and our rep extraordinaire, Julie Blankenheim. #philipsrocksneoc
#Inspired by clients who understand and place value on lighting design and fixtures. It says a lot about their intent for their customers.
We love talking about overall design intent with new clients who know how they want the space to FEEL vs. look.
One of several high rise projects we are fortunate to work with @bKLarchitecture and @MagellanDev . xitter.cf/bKLarchitecture/status…
Thankful for reps who understand they are more than salespeople. We welcome them to our team when they are timely, honest and accurate.
We love when manufacturers shows us simple yet elegantly designed light fixtures that work. @vibialight #lightiscreation
We're inspired to find ways to juggle many dichotomies of design elements to create a moving illuminated experience. #notjustlights #balance
What we do that's good for us is #helpingothers do their job better. Being proactively detailed on specs improves efficiency down the line.
Frustrated when #GMP is set before we're on the project. We need to be involved earlier in the process to help establish realistic budgets.
Small design firms can be experts at #efficiency and communications. Clients love that we manage big $$ projects without #bureaucracy.
Transparency of #lighting budgets is tantamount for appropriate selection of fixture quality. Let's stop #wastingtime.
I'm inspired by empathic design vs. #eyecandy. Designing for being in the space links people to the architecture. #lightingphilosophy
Encouraged by the interest and questions about the design process during our presentation at @PGenlighten, Chicago. xitter.cf/PGenlighten/status/730…
