It’s #GuineaPigAppreciationDay and we’re celebrating our furry ambassadors: Moira, Twyla, and Stevie! 🐹💛
These three rescued sweethearts came to us from @humanecolorado (formerly Denver Dumb Friends League) and are now beloved members of our Animal Ambassador team.
✨ Moira (3, Abyssinian, Tri-Color) is the fastest to train and loves dashing into her crate for breakfast.
✨ Twyla (4, Smooth, Black) is shy but can’t resist red bell peppers and chew sticks.
✨ Stevie (4, Teddy Bear, Black and White) enjoys snacks in private by pulling her food bowl into her favorite hiding spots.
Every day, this adorable trio helps teach guests about responsible pet care and the unique needs of guinea pigs, like special diets and the importance of companionship.
Thinking of adding a guinea pig to your home? Do your research and consider adopting from a shelter. They’re social, sensitive animals that deserve the best!

Thank you to @LarryListon10, @MannyRutinel & Rep. Rick Taggart for sponsoring #SB045 which will increase spay & neuter rates in Colorado! This will help reduce pet overpopulation & the number of animals entering shelters. We appreciate your leadership on this important issue!

"If you talk to Bronx, she’ll talk back. She likes to play; she loves sitting in the cat tree watching the world go by. She’s sweet as can be and just needs a family that will let her get comfortable at her own pace."
