On April 11, 1897, in Minnetonka, Minnesota, at 22:30, Stuart Mackroth was riding his bicycle near Minnetonka Mills when the airship passed over him. It was "shaped like an ordinary boat," with a brilliant electric light in the bow, red, & green sidelights, & a pale stern light.
