I’m going to try to be impartial about Bela Arcal’s mother’s hinanaing.
Whenever I hear Bela share her experiences growing up, it never really crosses my mind na kontrabida agad yung parents, siblings, or relatives niya. Simply because SOME CHILDREN GENUINELY REMEMBER AND INTERPRET THEIR UPBRINGING DIFFERENTLY FROM HOW THEIR PARENTS DO.
Yung kahit nagpaka-Nanay naman yung nanay, ang reception ng anak is still, “Nasaan ka nung kailangan kita?” Not necessarily because the mother wasn’t there, but because the child didn’t FEEL her presence the way she needed to.
Her mother may have had her own struggles and may have done everything in her power to raise Bela. And that deserves acknowledgment. BUT THAT DOESN’T AUTOMATICALLY INVALIDATE WHAT BELA FELT GROWING UP.
And correct me if I’m wrong, but I don’t recall Bela explicitly saying na pinabayaan siya, hindi siya inasikaso, or inabandona siya ng pamilya niya. From what I’ve seen, she’s simply sharing her experiences and how she perceived them.
I personally grew up in a close-knit family, but my parents weren’t perfect either.
Ang dami kong “sana na-experience ko rin” growing up, especially the seemingly trivial things. Yung sana parents ko ang uma-attend ng school meetings, naghahatid at sumusundo, naghahanda ng school requirements, or even nag-aayos ng buhok ko before going to school.
BUT WISHING I HAD EXPERIENCED THOSE THINGS DOES NOT MEAN MY PARENTS ARE BEING NEGLIGENT.
I can acknowledge everything my parents sacrificed for me while also recognizing the things I wished they had done differently. BOTH CAN BE TRUE.
And that’s why I find her mother’s public reaction quite disappointing.
I understand that she may have felt hurt, unappreciated, or even misrepresented. Valid naman yung feelings niya. But publicly calling out your own daughter, accusing her of lying, and bringing up everything you’ve provided for her? That’s a different story.
Hindi porket may pagkukulang kang naalala bilang anak, ibig sabihin wala ka nang utang na loob. And hindi porket ginawa mo ang lahat bilang magulang, ibig sabihin wala nang karapatang masaktan ang anak mo.
Parents are allowed to feel hurt by how their children remember their upbringing. But children should also be allowed to talk about their experiences without automatically being labeled ungrateful.
After all, a parent’s sacrifices and a child’s unmet emotional needs can coexist. One does not cancel out the other.

Aside from the #JeoLee ganap in the Abangan Bukas teaser, I’m actually glad that PBB is airing the hand-kissing situation between Gehlee and Calix.
I genuinely WANT them to air it, not to put anyone in a bad light, but because it’s a perfect opportunity to EMPHASIZE THAT NOT EVERYONE IS COMFORTABLE WITH PHYSICAL TOUCH OR GESTURES, ESPECIALLY WITHOUT CONSENT.
I think it’s high time for PBB to use its platform to advocate respecting personal boundaries, even when those boundaries haven’t been explicitly communicated.
Because here’s the thing: Someone shouldn’t have to verbally express discomfort before we start respecting their personal space. We should normalize being mindful of other people’s comfort levels instead of assuming that a gesture is welcome simply because our intentions are harmless or affectionate.
And before anyone dismisses this as me being biased because I like Gehlee, THIS APPLIES TO EVERYONE, REGARDLESS OF GENDER OR SEXUAL ORIENTATION.
We often assume that men or gay people are naturally comfortable with physical affection. But there are men and gay people who don’t appreciate being touched without permission, just as there are women who feel the same way.
And ALL of those preferences are valid.
Also, let’s stop confusing good intentions with automatic permission. You can mean absolutely no harm and still unintentionally cross someone’s boundaries. Both things can be true.
This isn’t about villainizing Calix. It’s about recognizing that situations like these can open meaningful conversations about consent, respect, and personal space.
PBB has a platform that influences younger audiences, and I hope they use moments like this to reinforce an important lesson:
Just because you think a gesture is sweet doesn’t automatically mean the person receiving it feels the same way. And the absence of a NO doesn’t automatically mean YES.
At the end of the day, it all boils down to PERSONAL SPACE, CONSENT, AND INDIVIDUAL PREFERENCE. 🤷♀️
A little awareness and consideration go a long way. 🤷♀️

I’m remembering Alex Eala’s 1st match with Coco.. when she finally won one game and rejoicing on the fact na hindi siya maba-bagel sa Set 1. 😂🫣
Now focusing on PVL… Set 4 na!
Push niyo mag fifth set Choco Mucho!!! 🙏
In Eya Laure clutch, I trust!
#PVL2026
Us rn because Alex Eala won her first round in straights:
THANK YOU SA MEDYO HINDI PAKABA AT PAHIGH-BLOOD NA GAME.
See you sa R16! 🙌

Wait lang naman.. kakatune in ko lang sa LIVE, hindi naman to si Alycia Parks kalaban ni Alex Eala. 😂
Anong nangyari kay ate girlie? Hindi ako updated bakit naging si Jones na kalaban. Nag-withdraw ba?
This quoted post is unavailable.
Idk anything about Primo, Nathan or this person on my screen but…
You know the friendship was not genuine in the first place when they’re just lurking on the sidelines to wait for an opportunity to prove they’re right and vocally root for that one person’s downfall. 🤷♀️
I’ve ended relationships and friendships but I can swear I have never PUBLICLY dragged my issues with the people I have cut ties with.
May these type of “friends” never find its way to me.

Mamiiiiiiiii help! haahaha
I am picking up Gehlee and Ethan edits on my tl and it is honestly giving “I feel safe with you” vibes. I am also liking it but I’m still Team Jeo through and through! HAHA
Tibayan mo pa sikmura mo boy sa pagpapaka-nonchalant. 😂

Really happy with Wynwyn’s presence inside the house. Merong Ate/Mother figure yung mga young adult like Gehlee. 🫶💗

Lol I completely forgot that it’s Miss Universe szn. 🤭
Ay juskooooo. I have been careful of what I consume here on X for the sake of my mental health since July’s PH NT volleyball issue.
I lessen my hours exposure sa app na to whenever negativity/bashing is overflowing my tl. I get off the app entirely din when I can no longer absorb the kabobohan at kagagahan ng mga tao kaya ngayong narecruit ako ng sister ko sumubaybay sa PBB, good luck sa akin. 😂
I don’t follow them everyday but enough to know what the heck is happening inside.
And now that Alex Eala’s 2026 season is coming to an end, wdym I’m gonna be stuck with PBB ganaps for the next coming weeks? 😮💨
Ay buti nalang may PVL pa! Haha

I’m so sad for this young girl. 🥹
Preface ko lang na I’m already married.
But in my teenage years, I can deal with men just fine—friends or more. I’m not sensitive to physical touch or gestures as long as alam ko at feel ko na walang malice. I can easily just shrug something done without my permission as long as kaya ko itolerate yung ginawa.
However, I have never imposed how I deal with boys/men on others and I make it a point to stand on the girlie’s side when I notice she’s uncomfortable esp pagdating na sa touchy touchy subject. I know regular people who are very much reserved. Kahit holding hands lang, kahit hawak sa damit or skin, it can make them very uncomfy to the point gusto na nila umiyak. And it’s not being OA, it’s just how they are.
Kaya banas ako when they made fun of that specific moment. When you’re in a relationship or have been engaging with boys/men in whatever capacity, you tend to view things differently. You’re prone to forgetting HINDI LAHAT NA-EXPOSED NA SA KUNG ANONG NA-EXPOSED KA NA.
And you know, mag-blind2 pa ba tayo how Gehlee is honed by Korean culture when it comes to protecting her image as a professional artist?
Ok, sabihin na natin baka initial reaction lang nila yun kasi nga “it’s acting” lang naman. I’m willing to give those people the benefit of the doubt. But I’m gonna throw punches talaga if di na naman nila i-eere pagiging uncomfy ni Gehlee sa ginawa na ‘to ni Calix.
My girlie deserved an apology from the man and PBB should use this situation to advocate for respecting one’s boundaries!
#PbbCollan3point0 #freegehlee #GEHLEE
1. Gehlee is vocal about “boys being off-limits” growing up.
2. We all know how Kpop female idols are wired to not be seen sweet/touchy with males to avoid issues and backlash. Of course it’s going to be imposed on her.
3. Yes she is an adult already but then again, you cannot assume everybody is comfortable with physical gestures esp when it’s coming from the opposite sex.
and
4. THEY’RE NOT INSIDE PBB TO DO CONTRACTUAL WORK. Don’t spin the “ay maarte, walang mararating sa showbiz yan” narrative cos they aren’t there to make a directed movie. Don’t mistake one’s participation in PBB as magiging automatic YES-people nalang silang lahat. 😮💨
#PbbCollan3point0 #GEHLEE
Wala sa mood si Gehlee dahil during the audition daw, hinalikan ni Calix ang kamay niya without her permission.
Consent matters, kahit gesture pa 'yan. Hindi porket harmless ang intention, automatic na okay na sa taong nakatanggap.
