On a real note, in 2011 I watched an underdog win the NBA finals. That underdog was The Dallas Mavericks my local team. The next season (2011-2012) I heard of an even worse team that was in the GUTTER and decided I'd begin rooting for them (again i love an underdog story). 1/?
Being a Hornets fan in 2026 is just watching Brandon Miller drop 28 then immediately getting hurt for 3 weeks while the team scores 81 points and the national media acts like we never existed.

It's panic time in Charlotte.
Worst offensive rating in the NBA by far. They take over half their shots from 3 even though they're shooting below 30%. Sion James cannot hit the side of the backboard, yet Charles Lee keeps empowering him to launch bricks.
Brandon Miller is not looking worth the money. Kon Knueppel is hurt again already. Seeing a lot of bad body language across the roster. All the joy is gone.
A step back was to be completely expected after trading LaMelo Ball but this is way worse than anticipated for the Hornets. This team looks broken.
