In principle, I don’t believe anyone should own or run Twitter. It wants to be a public good at a protocol level, not a company. Solving for the problem of it being a company however, Elon is the singular solution I trust. I trust his mission to extend the light of consciousness.

It's not all roses, I know that as well as anyone. Like configuring the sound, or is the wireless chipset the right one and does it support freebsd? Can I hang a monitor off of it? how about three? It takes some work... but that's what makes me love… cons.ivy.io/@clintm/10935768…

I'm not sure what I like better about mastodon. The fact that it's (compared to twitter) effortless to get programmatic access to the API, or that people seem generally happy to be here. I should have gone all-in with mastodon a while ago.
