I am soo proud of my Dad!
Today, his debut fantasy novel “Krumpfelbaum and the seeds of time” comes out!
He is a mastermind with words, a huge inspiration & often writes English lyrics for me (like Ashes of Dreams)
Please support him & be captivated!

I think I got a sudden surge to play some roguelites again. It's that pick up and play nature.
Slay the spire really captures that D&D spirit though. I can't decide if I like it or Monster Train more, both are really good.
Finally beat the first island in into the breach! Took me longer then I would like to mix, but I'm really getting into it now.
I guess the streak continues, because I've never really played a roguelite I've disliked.
Armored core got me into some mech stuff in general, been checking out into the breach. Very very tough game but does feel extremely fair as it does tell you exactly what the enemy is going to do. But still pretty easy to get overwhelmed and have you brain feel fried.
Wanted to play something a little bit lighter last night. Man this game has aged so well. Great tracks, great mechanics, and a good sense of speed. Also really love all the little challenges it has. Still need to clear the hard mode.
Back from vacation to get back to some more more heavy mech action, still not far but the game is a great adrenaline rush. Story is picking up as well, wondering where things go from here.

Played around 7 missions of Armored Core last night.
Fromsoftware always impresses with their sound design and animation work. Explosions, boosts and your laser sword all feel incredible to use.
I do accidently hit L3 a bunch which makes you charge forward haha. It's good!
Following up my Fuedal Japan quest with some giant robot action!
I hear great things about this game, and I'm ready to dive in!
70 hours later...Nioh 2 finally done.
A journey full of rage and awesome combat. But I'm ready for the next game. It'll be awhile until I get to Nioh 1 and 3, but I'm definitely a fan of the series now.
Thanks for the awesome experience Team Ninja!
Holy moly this is hard. Rhythm Heaven fever is instantly charming from the second you turn it on. But is also pretty dang demanding. Very cute game though.
Hideyoshi's fall into avarice in Nioh 2 apparently mimics his real life persona. Occasionally the game will give brief historic notes about this.
I think I'm going to find myself watching/reading history about fuedal japan after this game haha (10 more hours to go! apparently!)
When VS XIII was changed to XV, it took me awhile to accept the change as I was so hyped for that version of the game. Like more hyped then any game for years.
However I can still appreciate the brothership between the party and the main antagonist Ardyn with his infinite charm.

Oh wow, this actually became an article! 😳 I’m genuinely grateful that they wrote about it, but I’d like to clarify one small thing.
When I worked with Shu Takumi at the company I used to work for, I was still a newcomer. I was basically in a position where I was being paid while learning from people with far more experience than me.
So I don’t want to talk about that project in a way that makes it sound like I was responsible for more than I actually was, or claim a particular character or part of the project as my own accomplishment. It was a large project with a huge amount of work being done by many people, and I simply handled the parts that were assigned to me. My contribution was only one small part of the project as a whole.
That’s also why I don’t want to make a big deal out of naming the title and risk taking credit for other people’s work.
Games are built from countless individual contributions by many different people. Sometimes you see people make their own contribution sound much bigger than it really was, almost as if they did everything themselves. I never want to be that kind of person.
