Fable 5 just took my job
It’s over. I’m quitting design.
A client of mine just created a logo with Fable 5, and the result left me speechless.
It understood the brand story, values, audience, strategy, and turned all of it into a smart, minimal symbol. A genuinely brilliant concept. The kind of idea that captures everything at once. Something I honestly don’t think I would have come up with myself.
And it didn’t just nail the idea. It executed the design pixel-perfectly.
So I raise the white flag.
My skepticism about AI’s ability to do great design is officially gone.
There, I said it:
AI beat me at design.
Now that AI finally took my job, I can peacefully quit and dedicate my life to studying the only thing it may never achieve: human consciousness and the pathways to God.

I’m going to answer this claim that “X is turning into TikTok” one time only:
• Posts containing videos already make up close to half the impressions on X
• Many videos from top accounts are simply stolen from other users, sometimes 5 years after they originally went viral.
• Our team believes this recycled content has a negative impact on the user experience and the business.
• For the first time, we are providing a functional video editor so some videos on X can finally be original content that doesn’t exist on other platforms
If you are a creator that does not recycle other people’s content, you have the biggest arbitrage opportunity of your career to build an audience here.

I stopped showing my best creations on X because of the daily thefts, but now Nikita is demonetizing those profiles and the platform has finally become a comfortable network for creators.
In 2022, after the arrival of Midjourney, I decided to dedicate myself full-time to diving deep into this emerging culture.

To avoid that problem, I’ve had to present myself as a traditional painter so I don’t fall into the pure AI niche.
I will present my series drawn by hand, showing a human side.
You might think you can create an AI-generated video that simulates painting by hand, but in reality, it will be flooded with comments calling it AI, and you’ll create distrust among your followers.
It’s not a real solution.
I believe that if you decide to take this path of producing professionally and making a living from it, you should do a market study beforehand.
