I am glad to be part of this study! Ease of use and quick control of bleeding are huge plus with this technique (works with Perclose failure as well). Essentially we never had to bother surgeons to bail us out for primary access site complications!

75F with morbid obesity, AS, HFpEF, and chronic a fib presented with progressive SOB and developed shock requiring vasopressors. We performed biradial (INR 4.0) BAV with two 12 mm balloons achieving a reduction of mean PG from 67 to 42.
