Y’all are being obtuse. TLDR; No OS maker is responsible for unoptimized apps. Both platforms provide the tools to have apps fit for foldable devices and it is on the devs to implement the design. Android gives recommendations while iOS forces design adherence or risk App Store rejection. People blame Android because they have no strict guidelines. Android (Google) gives recommendations on how to make your UX/UI fall in line with Android UI. They are not required to do so though and their app is not at risk of being rejected. This is why the “blame” falls on Android (although it is STILL the devs fault and I never understand blaming the OS if the tools are there). Apple has stricter requirements. Apps are required to follow certain guidelines and must be adhered to by a certain time or else their app is rejected. So if an app isn’t optimized, then it is wholly on the developer. But the thing here is people were being unreasonable expecting apps to be optimized before the phone even released, which is foolish for small/mid size devs.

They updated the Shonen Jump app now. I understand many people are not happy with their Duo. Thank God mine is doing well and the apps I use are all updated. 🥹

I have the Pixel and everyone always tries to talk shit because out of MILLIONS of devices, someone experienced lag or issues. So now apparently every phone from that company will have these issues. I truly do not care what a review says if MY phone is good. I base my experience on my experience and nothing else. I'm sorry for these people with bad phones. Utilize your return policy and/or warranty and get rid of it. Also, stop paying full price for these damn phones!
