People wen dey worship Jesus who died 3000 years ago are writing Epistle lecturing China on how to react when their own Supreme leader n Hero who died just 45 years ago is insulted.
WE AFRICANS should be ashamed that WE don't take as much action n overreaction when people like Thomas Sankara, Sani Abacha, Kwame Nkrumah, Patrice Lumumba, Gaddafi are labeled a "Dictator"
I prefer religious extremist behead people who insult Kwame Nkrumah than fighting for Allah, Jesus or Mohamed. Mtcheeeew!!!
Everybody with their half-assed comments and submissions on this Mbappé/China issue.
Honestly, you’d expect some people to have advanced beyond this level of thought, but then maybe expecting too much is the problem here.
The Chinese reaction to the Mbappé issue is a little excessive, and they’ve managed to blow up a non-issue in a way that doesn’t serve their global image well.
This isn’t even about cancel culture; it reflects a tendency to over-glorify a historical figure and treat criticism of him as an affront to national identity. That hardly projects the image of a forward-thinking country; it suggests a society still overly invested in protecting a cult of personality.
This was an issue that didn’t need to be expanded or blown out of proportion. With that said, if Chinese people regard Mao as an important historical figure and want to preserve his place in their national consciousness or shield his legacy from criticism, that’s their prerogative. But what Mbappé said wasn’t remotely severe enough to warrant this reaction.
With that said, Africans who have taken this Chinese reaction and turned it into a paranoid Chinabad overdrive are equally ridiculous. It’s concerning how little meaningful intellectual evolution some of you have undergone on these subjects.
China doesn’t need your permission to be a global power; it already is. Secondly, China isn’t jostling to replace your colonial masters out of some grand ideological mission. They want to make money and do business. And as I always say, China’s global ascent is a reality.
You’d be better off spending less time explaining why you’d rather remain the bitch of American hegemony than become the bitch of Chinese global ascent.
We are not choosing between slave chains here. We are asking you to wake up to the changing global order and understand how to position yourselves to rise within it. It’s as simple as that.
China isn’t necessarily trying to become the new West; these power blocs operate according to different political, economic, and strategic dynamics.
You’re asking the wrong questions and drawing some remarkably stupid conclusions from what you observe. You’ve confined yourselves to this slavish corner of geopolitics where Africa is permanently relegated to the bottom of the rung.
Grow up. Reading your thoughts on this matter brings me considerable shame at even sharing a nationality with many of you.

The Chinese are telling you that their own leader is not a dictator, you're writing epistle describing their own leader for them.
What is actually wrong with you people?
A reminder that Western education is not education, it is brainwashing ritual n you come out very confident in your ignorance thinking you know better🤷♂️
The biggest irony here is that the official constitutional system of China is actually defined as the "People's Democratic Dictatorship" (人民民主专政).
This is not even an insult; it is written directly into Article 1 of the Constitution of the People's Republic of China.
Article 1 states:
"The People's Republic of China is a socialist state under the people's democratic dictatorship led by the working class and based on the alliance of workers and peasants."
(中华人民共和国是工人阶级领导的、以工农联盟为基础的人民民主专政的社会主义国家。)
So, China at least has the intellectual honesty to admit that its own government establishment is a dictatorship, but that it is a bottom-up dictatorship where the working class organized together and pulled down the bourgeois class.
Technically speaking, the Communist Party of China has no right to feel offended when figures like Mao Zedong are labeled dictators, since they themselves consider their system a dictatorship. The offense is only justified in context. They know that according to the worldview of the average Westerner, a "dictatorship" is a title reserved for a figure who governs by a strict top-down model where the rule of law is disregarded and people's rights are violently suppressed. Mao Zedong was not such a figure. He was never among the corrupt oligarchs in China; he emerged as the leader of the party through grassroots class organization. Furthermore, his policies were geared toward unifying China and dismantling the cultural and feudal systems that facilitated imperial extraction.
It is quite funny how many people in the West consider any government not practicing liberal democracy to be a "dictatorship," as if to say their own democracy is not a dictatorship itself. In reality, every political system is fundamentally a dictatorship.
No single figure can rule as a dictator in isolation. Even a leader who emerges from a democratic election still needs loyal heads of the judiciary, the legislature, and the military to legitimize their oppressive policies. Similarly, a military strongman still needs loyal chiefs and oligarchs to suppress public anger and use state propaganda networks to rally the people. All government systems are dictatorships; it all depends on who is doing the dictating. If it is a dictatorship of the ruling capitalist class, then it is a bourgeois dictatorship. If it is a dictatorship of the working class and peasants, then it is a dictatorship of the proletariat.
If Americans truly believe they are not living under a dictatorship, then I challenge them to vote to end the military conquests in the Middle East and completely lift the embargo on Cuba. Clearly, they cannot. Just like in every Western democratic system in the world, the vote is merely political theater designed to maintain the illusion of choice. The ruling class continues to shuffle power among themselves and multiply their wealth, while the poor masses are condemned to carry the full burden of this economic exploitation and imperial blowback.

Language and vocabulary shape the limits of human thought. China has a fundamentally different writing system, which makes it difficult for Westerners to grasp concepts that exist beyond their own language.

That’s a mistranslation.
> In Chinese, zhuanzheng ("专政") is a distinct political term. It emphasizes the rule of one class over another, usually referring to the proletariat ruling over the bourgeoisie.
> Ducai ("独裁", dictatorship), on the other hand, refers to one person or a group ruling over others. It describes a power relationship.
Chinese has two distinct terms for these concepts, while English uses just one.
The limits of your language are the limits of your thought. You cannot think beyond the language you have. Chinese is a language you cannot understand, and that is why you cannot grasp the ideas behind it.

Nigeria was supposed to have 40 JF-17 Thunders plus a local assembly line by 2017 (which would have been Africa's largest 4G fighter fleet), but guess which State Department manchurian candidate became president in 2015 and immediately canceled the deal, pivoting instead to the steaming pile of US-sanctioned trash called A29 Super Tucano...
🚨🚨BREAKING: Ethiopian Prime Minister @AbiyAhmedAli announces the delivery of its first 12 Su-35 4++ generation fighter jets from Russia, with four S-400 air defense system batteries also expected under a prior agreement with Moscow.🇪🇹

One educated Nigerian intellectual will tell you that "Iran is poor" n "socialism is bad" just to console himself about the miserable life he's living under Nigerian capitalism🤌
⚡️JUST IN: Iran is Planning to Deploy 200 HAPS Communication Drones to establish Full Stratospheric Internet Coverage over its Territory
These Drones function like satellites and fly 20 km high in the atmosphere
Phones can connect directly to the Internet without a SIM card, making it possible to access the Internet even in remote areas, such as the jungle or the mountains
Africa- Western alliance is the most forced alliance on earth.
Left alone, No African nation will even touch any White man with a long stick
