Jason Lee: "I’m resigning." The Mayor: "We do not accept your resignation!" Also the Mayor: "You're fired!” 🤣🤣🤣

I was today years old when I found out that Gavin Newsom was once married to Kimberly Guilfoyle—and they were even dubbed “The New Kennedys” long before she got engaged to Donald Trump Jr. Boy, American politics is messier than Bravo’s housewives.

I loved witnessing summer collapsing gently into fall in September. Looking forward to savoring and breathing in autumn in its full, golden effect.🍁 Hello, October!✨

This was a TOUGH read. I could only handle a few chapters at a time. I had to step away for days after each reading. Even knowing and anticipating what is going to unfold doesn’t prepare my psyche to go into that world and see it through her eyes. #NobodysGirl #BookTwitter

Father, please turn Your face toward Sudan, and remember them in Your mercy. 🇸🇩🇸🇩🇸🇩
Two Sudanese children sobbing over their mother's grave, one whispering through tears: "Mama, I'm so tired... why won't you answer me? I'm hungry... you left us all alone." Let the world witness the horrific crimes committed by the RSF against these innocent children.

Gisèle is a badass!! Her strength, dignity, and courage are deeply moving, and her story stands as a powerful testament to resilience. This is not just a memoir—it is a statement, a reckoning, and a revolution! What a woman! Genuinely in awe of her. #AHymnToLife #BookTwitter

So Twitter has recently added a long list of custom timelines, but apparently, literature and books didn't make the cut. I mean, who needs reading when you have doomscrolling, right? #BookTwitter

Although I ended it on a high note, 2019 wasn’t a good year for me, but alas, I’m Habesha, and I get to do it all over again! Celebrating the New Year with a special delivery from my sweet mother, & a new Kendrick Lamar. #SoGood Happy New Year 🌼🌼🌼

I walked through the towering, giant trees for 4hours this morning…. savoring what’s left of Summer, and holding onto these final, sun drenched mornings before they dissolve into autumn.🌳🌳🌳

King Harald is dead, and the country🇳🇴 is silent. We do not grieve a distant majesty. We grieve someone we knew. He laughed when he was glad. He wept when life was hard, and he never hid it. He carried these last difficult years the way the rest of us must carry ours. With dignity, but without pretending it came at no cost. Perhaps that is why he felt so close. He showed us that even a king can hurt and struggle. He made us proud. Not because he stood above the people, but because he belonged to us. Those who grieve the most today may be the ones we otherwise notice the least. The Sámi. Queer people. Immigrants. Those who think differently, or live with something that makes the days heavier. To them, Harald said what no king had said as clearly before him, that Norway is their country too. Norway is us. Norway is you. We wanted someone above us. We got someone who stood beside us. Thank you, Harald V.

King Harald was a modern & progressive leader. It is highly uncommon for reigning monarchs to take public stances on socially or politically sensitive topics such as immigration, religious diversity, & gay rights. He truly was the ppl’s king. 🇳🇴 Hvil i fred, konge 🕊️

She had me at the epigraph with that Kendrick quote, before I even got to the first chapter. I enjoyed the fast-paced narrative way more than I expected. It’s a real page-turner. #KamalaHarris #107Days
