A low-scoring opening quarter at the Copper Box, with the Lions edging ahead 14-12.
Lietkabelis shot just 16.7% from three, while London, enduring a tough shooting campaign, misfired on all perimeter attempts. Both sides also left points at the line.
The London Lions’ #BKTEuroCup playoff hopes were ended a few weeks ago.
Tonight’s game will be about pride and building momentum for their upcoming SLB Cup Semi-final clash.
Back at the @CopperBoxArena tonight as the London Lions host Lietkabelis Panevezys in their final @EuroCup game of the season.
Back at the @CopperBoxArena tonight as the London Lions host Lietkabelis Panevezys in their final @EuroCup game of the season.
Ratiopharm Ulm head into halftime holding a narrow 36–32 lead.
Ulm are shooting 55% inside the arc to the Lions’ 38.5%, while London found rhythm from deep in Q2 (44.4%). Free throws remain a missed opportunity for the hosts (52.6%).

London Lions injury-hit squad will showcase their two new signings, Chaundee Brown and Nigel Hawkins, at home in the #BKTEuroCup for the first time this season.
All roads lead to the Copper Box tonight as the London Lions host Ratiopharm Ulm in a VERY IMPORTANT #BKT EuroCup clash.
Both sides are 3–7 in their last 10 and sit just outside the playoff spots: ulm 7th, Lions 8th. @basketinside360

At #WorldBasketballDay 2025, I also had the pleasure of speaking with Paulina Turcan, Partnerships and Engagement Manager for the @MayorofLondon Office, about the event, why Brixton was chosen as host, and more.

I’ll be attending a celebratory event in Brixton this afternoon to mark the occasion. Stay tuned for interviews with respected figures from across the basketball community.
