𝗖𝗮𝗻 𝗬𝗼𝘂 𝗦𝗲𝗲 𝗬𝗼𝘂𝗿𝘀𝗲𝗹𝗳 𝗕𝘂𝗶𝗹𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗮 𝗖𝗮𝗿𝗲𝗲𝗿 𝗶𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗚𝗿𝗲𝗲𝗻 𝗘𝗰𝗼𝗻𝗼𝗺𝘆? That’s the question we put to students at @SPUKenya during the first stop of the 𝗚𝗿𝗲𝗲𝗻 𝗖𝗮𝗿𝗲𝗲𝗿𝘀 𝗖𝗮𝗿𝗮𝘃𝗮𝗻 𝗜𝗻𝗻𝗼𝘃𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗖𝗵𝗮𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗻𝗴𝗲. For many young Africans, the challenge isn't a lack of ambition, talent or ideas. It's the gap between recognising an opportunity and knowing how to turn it into something tangible. And as Africa's economy evolves, so must the way we think about careers, entrepreneurship and the opportunities available to young people. Through the Green Careers Caravan, powered by 𝗝𝗮𝗰𝗼𝗯'𝘀 𝗟𝗮𝗱𝗱𝗲𝗿 𝗔𝗳𝗿𝗶𝗰𝗮'𝘀 youth entrepreneurship platform 𝗴𝗿𝗲𝗲𝗻𝗹𝗮𝗯𝘀® in partnership with the 𝗔𝗳𝗿𝗶𝗰𝗮𝗻 𝗗𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗹𝗼𝗽𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗕𝗮𝗻𝗸'𝘀 platform 𝗘𝗻𝗻𝗼𝘃𝗮 𝗔𝗳𝗿𝗶𝗰𝗮, we're bringing conversations about green careers, innovation and entrepreneurship directly to young people, challenging them to look at the problems around them as opportunities to create solutions, build businesses and shape their own economic futures. At SPU, we wanted to hear directly from students and now we’re asking you – 𝗖𝗮𝗻 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝘀𝗲𝗲 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿𝘀𝗲𝗹𝗳 𝗯𝘂𝗶𝗹𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗮 𝗳𝘂𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗲 𝗶𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗴𝗿𝗲𝗲𝗻 𝗲𝗰𝗼𝗻𝗼𝗺𝘆? 𝗞𝗔𝗥𝗔𝗧𝗜𝗡𝗔 𝗨𝗡𝗜𝗩𝗘𝗥𝗦𝗜𝗧𝗬, 𝗬𝗢𝗨 𝗕𝗥𝗢𝗨𝗚𝗛𝗧 𝗧𝗛𝗘 𝗘𝗡𝗘𝗥𝗚𝗬! Our 𝟯𝗿𝗱 𝗚𝗿𝗲𝗲𝗻 𝗖𝗮𝗿𝗲𝗲𝗿𝘀 𝗖𝗮𝗿𝗮𝘃𝗮𝗻 𝘀𝘁𝗼𝗽 at @KaratinaUniv brought young people together to explore green careers, exchange ideas, and consider how the challenges they see around them can become opportunities for innovation and entrepreneurship. Through the Green Careers Caravan, and our partnership with the African Development Bank, we believe that advancing Africa’s green economy starts with putting young Africans at the centre of the conversations as innovators and solution-builders shaping the continent’s economic future. From ideation to pitching, students stepped up, shared their ideas, and demonstrated what the future of green entrepreneurship could look like. The Caravan is still moving, and the journey to the 𝗚𝗖𝗖 𝗜𝗻𝗻𝗼𝘃𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗖𝗵𝗮𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗻𝗴𝗲 𝗚𝗿𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗙𝗶𝗻𝗮𝗹𝗲 is getting closer. 𝗥𝗲𝗴𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗚𝗖𝗖. 𝗝𝗼𝗶𝗻 𝗘𝗻𝗻𝗼𝘃𝗮 𝗔𝗳𝗿𝗶𝗰𝗮. 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗽𝗹𝗲𝘁𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝘀𝗵𝗼𝗿𝘁 𝗰𝗼𝘂𝗿𝘀𝗲𝘀. 𝗜𝗻𝘃𝗶𝘁𝗲 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗳𝗿𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗱𝘀.
