The backlash against data centres should be the beginning of a much bigger conversation about the tech industry. We need less technology forced into every corner of our lives, not more. Cars don’t need giant screens, refrigerators don’t need computers, and every aspect of our lives doesn’t need to be monitored, tracked or turned into another app designed to collect our personal data.
This.. and it’s never capturing new data at that. Like nobody asked for any of these “conveniences” ..

I don’t know who needs to hear this but if the market is wildly selling off AI stocks because of the election results then it’s safe to assume the value wasn’t in the product but in the administrations willingness to let Silicon Valley fellate each other on your dime.
