Pujo's over. Like every year, thank you to everyone at SVF Cinemas.
Almost 2 lakh people walked in this Pujo, close to 80% for Bengali films. Real utsob.
Our team at the counters, gates, canteens, projection rooms and cleaning crews gave up their own Pujo and family time to make it happen. Real heroes, every one of you 🤍
And to everyone who worked through the festival so the rest of us could celebrate. Police, doctors, drivers, volunteers, delivery folks. We see you.
Aasche bochor aabar hobe 🙏
@svf_cinemas
Pujo vibe, captured 😄
And the track behind it is Infra's Dugga Ma Asche. The song of the Pujo came from an independent artist with zero marketing money.
Well done - Infra
Audience is the final judge. Always.
Shubho Bijoya. Pronam to the elders, lots of love to the younger ones. Maa Durga's blessings on you and your family 🤍
Madam Inspector is #4 in shows on Netflix India today. A hoichoi story, now in Hindi.
Bengal's stories now have a home for viewers everywhere. Years of work by Soumya Mukherjee and the hoichoi team to build that.
Proud of them 🤍

Brilliant brilliant installation art from @svfbrands , #JoyBiswas #SubHamDasgupta and team.
Curated from Hero Genuine Bike Parts and shadowgraphy as art form, titled Shakti In Motion at Desopriyo Park.
A whopping 170 bike parts to create a shadow projection of Maa Durga.

Pujo is the one time the whole city steps out together. The crowd is the joy of it.
Last night that same crowd took lives. Hard to even write that. What the families are going through can't be put into words.
Maybe we all go a little slower this week. Leave some space at the gate. Hold the little one's hand tighter.
I've followed the box office for 32 years and distributed more than 1500 films.
One thing is sure. Irrespective of promotion, don't get too excited or worried about the opening. Watch the Monday after Pujo.
Nobody remembers who had the biggest Friday. Everyone remembers the final number. Good films don't run fast. They run long.
When one Bengali film does well, the whole industry breathes easier.
Rooting for all four Pujo releases, and yes, Eken is ours, so I'm allowed to root a little louder for that one. Wishing each a long, full-house run.
Subho Sharodiya. 🪅🪩🎊🎉

Eken Babu leads advance bookings, but it’s going to be an interesting battle among all Pujo releases. Wishing everyone a fair run :) @SVFsocial @hoichoistudios
150 minutes of pujo songs, one link. Someone will still say their favourite is missing 😄
