When we launched in June, our goal was to imbibe the culture of Salary Transparency across the Tech ecosystem in Nigeria.
In the last month this goal has become even bigger across early careers like Internships & IT, NYSC and Graduate Trainee and various fields like Medical, Legal, Finance, Engineering and Education.
Nigeria as a country deserves to have intelligence on our careers and on how we get compensated for what we love doing

Backends use timers a lot: retries, TTLs, leases, scheduled jobs etc.
To find what's due, many poll the DB at fixed intervals, but that limits timer precision.
Polling more often improves precision, but makes every replica do more work even when nothing's due.
