New blog: From RTL and No-RTL to GDS in 3 Weeks
How long does it take to a #xschem #klayout first timer to get to tapeout signoff-ready GDS?
3 Weeks! With help from @Ishi_Kai_ASIC and chance provided by @Open_SUSI
I can do this, and you too!

We’re building the Apex GPU, along with our AI accelerator.
Our open-source Mesa driver just achieved Vulkan 1.3 conformance on our Alveo U50 FPGA prototype.
This is the first FPGA-prototype GPU capable of running Vulkan on a commercially available FPGA platform. We implement the whole stack, from the GPU microarchitecture and RTL to the Mesa driver and Vulkan.
We also think there is a very interesting opportunity to combine the Apex GPU with our AI accelerator and program both through Vulkan, enabling graphics and AI acceleration through a unified software interface.
A lot more to share soon.

Early results: place & route running entirely on GPU (our Xilinx Vivado implementation flow replacement)
These 3 are designs we use to benchmark the tool
Example part is U50
We enter the time of long-tail-software . where a program is used by one person or at most a few who share the knowledge about how to use that software. They together push forward the uselfulness of that software for themself.
Programms will become like a Wikipedia Article.
5 years ago, everyone and his grandmother did a RISC-V core for a FPGA.
Today I have the impression it is fashionable that everyone and his grandmother design a Vulcan compatible GPU for FPGA.
I am very fine with that. It might push forward openXC7, the open source Xilinx tools

Got an Artix 7 board from Alinx, PCIe is like 80% working in a test bitstream with openXC7. Hoping to get Glacier to be usable under Linux with this.
uberWAVE is so fast with large files that you can use it to visualize long running mixed signal design simulations.
Do you have a need for a fast open source analog waveform viewer? If you have analog design experience with NGspice or Spectre, and like to suggest improvements, let me know.
This is an honest list of what incubators really offer. Even as they get millilons of taxpayer Euros for running their own shop.
